After uploading, candidates should check for immediate reflection on the JAMB portal and, subsequently, on the school portal if applicable, with some schools being the exception; once results are on the JAMB portal, no further action is needed except to monitor admission progress via JAMB CAPS.
Whereas, there is particularly no closing date for the uploading of results. Candidates can upload their results as long as the proposed schools are still releasing their admission lists.
So, you uploaded it late? Did you have it done eventually? Now, what next? What should you expect after uploading your result? What is expected of you again?
Especially if your admission was delayed due to not uploading the results when necessary, you should be relieved once done. But what?
After Uploading O'level Results To JAMB Portal, Check If It's Reflected
Under normal circumstances, after uploading your results to the JAMB portal, they should reflect on the profile immediately. Don't buy the idea that a result uploaded to the JAMB portal will reflect later (some people claim within 24 hours). That's a lie! You should be able to see yourself active on the JAMB portal before you leave the CBT centre.
If a CBT centre tells you to wait a couple of hours before you check, the secret is that they have not uploaded it yet or they're not doing that immediately. They may be having network issues from their end and intend to upload later.
But if truly uploaded, without delay of any kind from the CBT centre, it should show on your profile immediately and before leaving the centre.

As For The Showing of Results on the School Portal, JAMB Will Send Them With Time
After seeing your results on the JAMB portal, you may be wondering if the same should show on your school portal. Of course, after uploading the result on the JAMB portal, you should expect it to show on the school portal as well. But, NOT in all cases.
Let me explain.
Not all schools will collect candidates' O'level results from JAMB. Most schools will expect and require you to fill, again, your O'level result while registering for their post-UTME or screening forms.
I won't run out of count if I should list the schools that won't collect your results from JAMB. That is, those who will ask you to fill in the results, for them too, on their admission portal.
However, one of the schools that usually collect results details from JAMB is the Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State. The university won't ask you to fill out your SSCE results, during the post-UTME registration. They must have exported/collected that from JAMB.

And if you don't have your results uploaded with JAMB when registering LAUTECH post UTME, you don't have to panic. You should go to any accredited CBT centre for the upload. Then, allow a few days/weeks and recheck your application on LAUTECH's portal.
By this time, the result should display. The university would eventually collect the results before the closing time for the online application.
In short, not all schools ask for candidates' results from JAMB. Where a school asks for that, the results will be on the school portal before you register for the post-UTME, though may not be immediately after uploading to the JAMB portal.
And where you upload late to the JAMB portal, sooner or later, the school will collect it for your admission too.

If O'level Results Are Showing on the JAMB Portal, There Is Nothing Expected of You to Do Again
Once you have the results active on the JAMB portal, you're not required to do anything else, as regards your admission. Just be following your admission progress through the JAMB CAPS.
If you have not done the post UTME/screening registration, do that when announced. If you've done that, be looking out for when the school will call you for post-UTME/screening.
If you've done that already or after that, your JAMB CAPS should be your daily activity. Each time you go on JAMB CAPS, be checking the following:
