As a result of this diversity, candidates may not necessarily buy their forms through banks, NIPOSTs, CBT centers, or cafes.
For one reason, it can save you money and time if you can buy the form on your own. And with the internet everywhere, why won't you buy the form at your own pace?
In this post, I will share a few official online platforms through which you can buy UTME and DE PINS before you take that to any available accredited CBT center for capturing and registration.
Buy JAMB e-PIN/Forms Through Remita
Remita is one of the apex agents being used by JAMB to sell its UTME and DE PINs. If you decide to use this platform, there won't be an extra charge than the form's face value.
To buy your JAMB PIN on Remita, follow the procedures below.
- Visit remita.net
- On the page, locate Buy JAMB PIN
- Click on that to open the two options i.e. UTME and DE links
- Click on the type of PIN you intend to buy and proceed to the payment.
- While filling out the online PIN-purchase form, be careful not to enter the wrong profile code, email, and phone number.
- You will need your ATM card, usually Mastercard, to pay on Remita.
- Enter your card number, the expiry date, CVV, and PIN (if required)
- Click pay and expect OTP SMS to be sent to your phone/line. Enter that in the right box to confirm your payment.
- A text message containing your PIN should enter your phone immediately while an online receipt should be on your payment screen. The receipt will equally contain the PIN.
Buy JAMB PINs/Forms Through Interswitch/Quickteller
To buy JAMB PINs/forms through the Interswitch/Quickteller, follow the steps below.
- To buy UTME/DE form on Interswitch, visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CandPay/InitPay
- To buy JAMB UTME on Quickteller, visit https://quickteller.com/jamb2023pinvending (UTME only) or https://quickteller.com/jamb2023pinvendingUTMEMOCK (UTME with MOCK)
- On the next page, enter your profile code can click "Get Details"
- If the profile code is correct, it will load your names and the phone numbers used to get the profile code
- After this, enter your working email in the box provided and click the right PIN to buy. You have the options for both UTME and DE here.
- On the resulting page, you will be given available platforms to make payments online. Click one and proceed to the payment.
- You will need your ATM card such as Verve, Mastercard, etc to make the payment here. You will need to enter your card number, CVV, expiry date, and PIN (if required).
- During the payment, copy your transaction number and if you don't remember to do that, you will find it in your email.
- After the payment go back to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CandPay/InitPay
- This time click on Re-Query/Check link. Then, enter the transaction number and click Query Payments
- This should confirm your payment if it was successful and send an SMS containing the PIN to your phone/line.
- On https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CandPay/InitPay, select the "Retrieve PIN" option and enter your profile code in order to display and print the PIN.
Buy JAMB PINs/Forms on Jumia, Opay, Paynet, and Similar Platforms
As already noted, you can buy your PIN using certain platforms including those present on apps that can be downloaded to Android and IOS.
These other platforms, also follow the same or similar procedures (as the two above) in order for intending candidates to buy their UTME and DE PINs.
For example, on the Jumai pay, you can follow the steps below.
- Visit https://pay.jumia.com.ng/
- Click on Buy JAMB PIN
- Fill out the form that will be opened to you.
- Make sure your profile code is correct together with the email and phone number.
- Submit to proceed to the payment page.
- Here, you will fill in your ATM card information before you can make the payment.
- After the payment, the PIN will be sent in an SMS and a receipt containing the PIN will be available for your printing too.
