What is JAMB result and how does it look?

This only shows your scores in each of your four UTME subjects. This is also called notification of result because it only notifies the scores and basic data of the student

How to Check JAMB Result?

In order to check your result as shown above,
  1. visit JAMB efacility link to check result or click http://jamb.org.ng/
  2. Click the link to check the current year result e.g 2019, 2020
  3. Enter your UTME registration number in the resulting box and click check result.
  4. Wait for the result page to pop up.
  5. Print your result for record and reference purpose.

What is the Original result and How does it look?

Very well, the result above is still original. But there's a particular one called “Original Result” – at least for the name sake.

This original result doesn’t only show your scores and basic data, it also shows how you selected your schools and courses during UTME registration.

How to Check Original JAMB Result?
  1. Visit JAMB efacility link to check result or click http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/
  2. Enter your profile email and password and log in
  3. Next, you will be on your dashboard
  4. Click “Print Result Slip”
  5. Make sure you select the right year for your result
  6. Enter your JAMB registration number in the resulting box and Follow the prompt instructions to proceed
  7. Make a payment of #1,000 (excluding N1,163 Remita charge) when prompted with your ATM card (usually Mastercard)
  8. After payment, return to “Print Result Slip” and print your result in color.
  9. Note that you will need PDF reader or Adobe reader on your device before you can print JAMB original result

NOTE
  1. Original JAMB result will display your passport photo
  2. It should be printed in color
  3. This is the result schools will need you to be brought for post UTME, admission screening and/or documentation.

What is the JAMB admission letter and How does it look?

After being given admission by JAMB through the process called CAPS, you should print your admission letter. This is the evidence that you’ve been given admission by JAMB.

How to Print JAMB Admission letter
  1. Visit JAMB e-facility link to check result or click http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/
  2. Enter your profile email and password and log in
  3. Next, you will be on your dashboard
  4. Click “Admission Letter”
  5. Make sure you select the right year for your admission.
  6. Enter your JAMB registration number in the resulting box and Follow the prompt instructions to proceed

  8. Return to your dashboard, enter your JAMB registration to print your admission letter.

  1. JAMB admission letter supersedes any other letter.
  2. JAMB admission is two – one called “Candidate’s copy” and the other called “Institution copy”
  3. Both must be printed in color
  4. You’ll need the result for your record, reference and documentation

What is School Admission Letter?

Usually, when admission is given a student will be given an admission letter by the school. This is called “School Admission letter”.

  1. The school admission letter is relevant for record purpose and documentation
  2. The school admission letter doesn’t supersede JAMB admission letter
  3. This letter can also be called notification of admission or acceptance letter of admission
  4. This letter is to be printed from the school's portal.
