JAMB Syllabus: How to Check, Download, and Print

When preparing for JAMB, studying with the past questions and answers pack is not enough; you want to consider covering what the syllabus restricts you to. This is why a few students rightly approach JAMB from the syllabus.

But, how do you get this syllabus, if any? And how to know if the syllabus is original and updated? Does JAMB provide an official syllabus? In this post, I will be guiding you on two methods to get the JAMB official syllabus that remains updated.

Method 1: Get the JAMB Syllabus Using the QR Code

JAMB has made it easy for students with smartphones and knowledge of how to scan QR codes to visit the section of its official portal to access the current year's syllabus.

JAMB did not hesitate to guide him on the use of the QR code available on the JAMB registration slip.

According to the board,

Kindly scan the QR code on your registration slip or visit the Board's website to access the IBASS.

Certainly, to access the IBASS, you can follow these steps:

1. Retrieve your registration slip, which should contain a QR code.
2. Use a QR code scanner on your mobile device to scan the QR code on the registration slip.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to access the IBASS and avail the necessary services or information.
4. Ensure that you are connected to a secure network while accessing the IBASS, and exercise caution to protect your personal information during the process.

Method 2: Get the JAMB Syllabus Using the Official Link

To visit the official JAMB link, you'll need a smartphone connected to the internet with any available browser (e.g., Chrome, UC Browser, Safari, Opera, etc.). Launch your browser and follow the steps below.

1. Ensure that you are on the official JAMB website by typing "www.jamb.gov.ng" in your web browser. Be cautious of phishing sites and verify the URL for authenticity.
2. Once on the JAMB homepage, locate the "Quick Links" tab on the menu bar. Click on it to reveal a dropdown menu.
3. From the dropdown menu, select the option labeled "IBASS" This will direct you to the section where you can access the syllabus for the relevant year, in this case, JAMB 2024.
4. Upon entering the "Syllabus" section, you will find a list of subjects. Select the subject for which you are seeking the syllabus.
5. You can also click direct on https://ibass.jamb.gov.ng/syllabus/pdf. Then, scroll up and click o "" SYLLABUS SYSTEM (IBASS)". On the next page, click ""eSyllabus". This will lead you to a page containing the detailed syllabus for that particular subject.
6. On the syllabus page, you will find options to either download or print the syllabus document. Choose the option that best suits your preference for future reference.
