Will Kwara Poly (KWAPO) Write Post UTME or Screening?

KwaraPoly logo
Kwara State Polytechnic is one of the most competitive polytechnics in the county, especially in the southwest. You can consider the polytechnic in the JAMB UTME or during the change of institution for your National Diploma (ND programme.

However, as part of the admission processes into any polytechnic, aspirants are expected to take part in post UTME or screening. Post-UTME involves writing exams (usually) CBT before being admitted while screening may just involve applying online and expecting admission offers or appearing in the school for physical checking of credentials.

The question is - which one does Kwara State Polytechnic, Offa (KWAPO) usually do? Does the polytechnic write post UTME, adopt the screening method only, or both?

This post will be quick to answer the question. Then it will give you the procedures for the polytechnic admission form A to Z.

Ride along!

Kwara State Polytechnic Uses Online Screening Method

Unlike a few other polytechnics that require aspirants to come on campus to write a post-JAMB test or for physical verification of credentials, the state-owned polytechnic uses online screening only. Here, aspirants are to obtain the screening form online, fill in their details, submit it, and wait for the polytechnic to offer them admission. See Information Needed to Fill Post-UTME/Screening Forms

Hence, if you're about to consider KWAPO, be reassured that there won't be any conduction of any entrance exam again after the UTME. Once you have the required JAMB score and school-declared cut-off mark together with the application online (when the time comes, you have nothing to worry about. Expect your admission. See Differences in JAMB, School, and Post UTME Cut-Off Marks.
