KWASU Will Conduct Admission Screening Instead of Exams

Admission seekers may want to know upfront if Kwara State University, Ilorin (KWASU) will be writing post UTME or conducting admission screening only before they can choose the university in UTME or while trying to make their decision for the change of institutions and courses.

In fact, some candidates who had just completed the university pre-screening registration are still not sure whether they will write entrance exams or they should get their documents ready for physical checking and screening.

And in this series, I have covered a few schools you may want to check before answered to the rest of the article. I’ve answered this kind of question on Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Osun State University, Lagos State University, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Federal Polytechnic Ede, The Polytechnic Ibadan and a few others.

Now, let’s talk about KWASU too.

KWASU Will Conduct Admission Screening Instead of Exams

For some years now, KWASU has stuck with to conducting ONLY SCREENING for their UTME and DE aspirants. I don’t see this changing any time sooner. Hence, candidates should just be on the lookout for admission screening.
If you’re to avoid writing any entrance exams before being offered admission, KWASU is one of those universities to can consider.

What to Expect in the University Screening Exercise

Having said that the university will not conduct a computer-based entrance test so common among other universities, the next thing to know is the nature or the procedures for their screening exercise/admission.

Below is a quick look…
  1. The university will announce the sales of the pre-screening form online.
  2. Applicants are expected to obtain and fill the form on the school portal
  3. After the online registration, you should keep checking the portal for updates on the physical screening dates. The management will announce the schedule for the checking of O’level results, JAMB results, Change of institutions slips (for those that changed to them), State/Local government of origin certificate and other credentials.
  4. After this, the university will forward the list of candidates admitted to JAMB to upload to her CAPS. This is why applicants should continually be checking their CAPS messages to know if they’d been offered admissions and if so, accept it thereon.
  5. After this, the university will equally upload the list to the school portal. There, you should accept as well, pay the acceptance and school fees.
