UNIOSUN Post UTME – Is it Exams?

The university was not writing exams in recent years. And the same is expected this year or anytime in the future. So, if you’re afraid of writing a new exam before you’re offered admission, don’t worry.

Nature of the University Screening Exercise

Having said no exams of any type before being admitted and you’re only required to partake in a screening exercise instead, you may want to know how their screening will go.

The screening will take the following form.

1. The university will announce the sales of their screening form and requires all admission seekers to obtain the online forms and filling their JAMB and O’level results.
2. After the completion of online registration, candidates are only required to print their acknowledgment slips.
3. After this, applicants must wait patiently for the university to update the portal when their screening results are released. The results will be based on the calculation of points derived from UTME score and O’level grades of 5 required subjects for an applicant’s proposed course.
4. NOTE that the calculation is not made public. Hence, you may not know how they arrive at the final screening score.
5. After this, candidates will be waiting for the university to release the first admission list, followed by the second, and later by a supplementary list.
6. Candidates can be checking for their admission status on the JAMB portal through Caps before the university finally uploads lists on the school portal.
