If I get your question right, you want to know if Lagos State University (LASU) will require their aspirants to write post-UTME computer-based tests or paper and pencil kind. And if they don’t, which method do they use?
Do they write Post UTME in LASU
No, LASU uses screening.
LASU uses screening only. The screening is online.
In other words, the school will advertise their post UTME screening exercise and require all aspirants to apply. During the application, you’re to fill your O’level results. Each subject grade will be given a point together with the UTME score.
It’s based on the final aggregate that the school will give you admission or otherwise.
This method may change in the future though. In the meantime, no need to prepare for any test.

I will like to ask two questions
ReplyDelete1...will lasu admit me if am going to be 16 year of age on October 11 2020
2.... Is my jamb score 231 and waec phyc6 chy c4 math A1 eng c6 bio B3 good enough for mechanical engineering in lasu
1. Yes
ReplyDelete2. Yes
Thanks for the reply sir... I was a bit doubtful because I heard candidate must be 16 year of age on October 1st...
DeleteYou're welcome. If you will be 16 by October 31 or 11, it's perfectly the same age.
DeleteOk now i understand sir.. .. Am applying forstream 1 course.... But I don't know how to go about it.. Am I going to select it during the post utme registration or how.... I want some guide
DeleteA competent cafe should be able to handle that for you. Best of luck!
DeleteIm just writing waec this year, can I still apply for the form? Would there be a time given when we'll be able to fill our waec results for this of is writing it this year?
ReplyDeletePlease is lasu form out for this year

Is there private and property law in lasu
ReplyDeleteSince you don't do post UTME exam CBT or written do you accept awaiting results(AR). Do you also accept instalmental payment for school fees?
ReplyDeleteYou can't use awaiting result for LASU admission. The form may still be on till your results are released this year. I'm not sure you can pay installmentally for the university tuistion.
DeleteI read one of ur blog about different age in waec and jamb ..but couldn't find the comments box so am using this opportunity to ask here
ReplyDelete...am this year 2020 jamb candidate and I want to change my date of birth on jamb ,will I be required to print an indemnity form to be submitted at institution..am confused on how to go about it
Thanks for calling my attention to the comment box issue. It's now rectified.
DeleteAs for your question, to do change of date of birth, as a UTME or DE candidate, you only need to go to JAMB office or accredited CBT centre with evidence of the correct date of birth (birth certificate). They will help you to effect the change without any need to submit indemnity form to any institution.
Thanks sir
ReplyDelete...I went to the cbt center today and I went along with my birth certificate and the corrections were successful but I wasn't given a print out copy like the way we print get print out for change of institution ...I want to know if it normal...I was also told at CBT center that it will take some weeks or months before the new dob appears on my profile and I will get a notification wen this is done.....how true is this
If it is an accredited CBT, it should be right. However, try to print original JAMB result to see if the change has been effected.
DeleteIt an accredited one sir...
Delete..so now am worried if I could register post utme with the correct age i just changed to on jamb which has not reflected on my profile .... Hope the different age on jamb profile and post utme bio data won't cause any problem since av applied for the change of age on jamb but will appear after some weeks or months and am to register post utme in few days from now
Use the corrected date of birth if possible. Things should reflect and tally with time.
DeletePlease, I need information about Direct entry grading point for medicine. How is it calculated?
ReplyDeleteI don't have derails at my disposal for now. I may update this post as soon as I can get reliable information. Other readers may also help in answering this question please.
DeletePlease could you provide the old departmental cut off marks. Or is a 65% good enough to gain admission in studying nursing. Thank you
ReplyDeleteI don't have that as well. Any point above 50% for less competitive courses should be favorable. For the competitive courses, 65% and above should be ideal.
DeleteWill I be admitted into lasu without passing economics in my two sittings for business administration ( course)
ReplyDeleteYou won't be. Economics is the core subject for business administration. For schools and courses that may accept DE or E8 in Economics, read the post through the link below.

Good morning sir. Sir please is lasu post utme form out? And can I use awaiting results?. I scored 196 and I want to study mass communication. Thank you
ReplyDeleteThe form is yet to be out as at the time of this reply. You should be able to apply with your UTME score. However, you will have to wait till your results are out before applying. The screening form is likely going to remain opened until results are released for the awaiting results candidates.
DeleteGood day sir. Please I want to know if lasu accepts two sittings for medical courses
ReplyDeleteMore likely NO. Read the post through the link below for better understanding
Deletehttps://www.schoolcontents.info/2019/08/universities-polytechnics-and-colleges.html
To study economics in lasu,do I really need commerce..thanks
ReplyDeleteFor O'level subjects, Five (5)SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) of Arts or Social Science subjects.
DeleteFor UTME subjects, Economics, Mathematics and any of Government, History, Geography, Literature in English, French and Christian Religious Studies/Islamic Studies.
For UTME, the University also accepts Commerce or Principles of Account.
Pls I want to knw LASU accept IJMB???
ReplyDeleteHow much is lasu screening form and when is it going to be out.
ReplyDeleteTo know the date the form will be out, you have to be visiting the school portal. You can also open the link below, bookmark the post and revisit form time to time.
Deletehttps://www.schoolcontents.info/2018/07/lasu-post-utme-procedures-grading.html
As for the price, the school is in charge of the price. We can't say that until the form is out. However, you should prepare about #2000 as this is the benchmark JAMB instructed schools to charge (excluding possible bank/online transaction charges)
Please,my aggregate is 58.25%. Can I study microbiology in Lasu?
ReplyDeleteThere is no way to answer your question as YES or NO. The university reserves the draw the yearly cut off marks which is not static.
DeletePlease sir
ReplyDeleteIs the form out
Not yet. Visit the school portal for the updates: https://lasu.edu.ng/home/
DeleteDoes lasu accept second choice?
ReplyDeleteNo. Not as at the time of this reply.
DeleteI have an aggregate score of 68 and I'll like to know if it is good enough for biochemistry
ReplyDeleteI don't know that. The university decides departmental points every year and can change as the case may be.
DeleteDo LASU accept two sitting exams
ReplyDeleteYes. Tread more through the post with the link below.
Deletehttps://www.schoolcontents.info/2019/08/universities-polytechnics-and-colleges.html
Hello pls does lasu accept second choice
ReplyDeleteNo
DeleteI just changed my first choice of institution to Lasu but the lasu page kept saying that I can't because I did not pick it as first choice
ReplyDeleteIt's because you'd just changed to the university. Your change has not reflected on the university's portal yet. Try again later.
DeleteWill neco 2020/2021 meet up with this year admission

How are lasu screening questions like
ReplyDeleteLASU doesn't ask questions in the online screening. You fill form online and await admission. That's is it. Read the post above again.
DeleteSir, is 2021 2022 lasu admission list over? Thanks. I hope to hear from you.
ReplyDeleteI can't answer this. Only the management knows about that.
DeletePlease sir can lasu accept me with 189 to study performing arts 🙏
ReplyDeleteNo. Their usual cut-off mark for any course is 190 or above.
DeleteWill lasu accept 194 for nursing
ReplyDeleteYes but that may not be enough for you to gain admission for their Nursing since it's a competitive course especially if your O'level required subjects are not As.
DeleteSir can I study medicine and surgery with 194 in jamb. And what are my O LEVEL required subject to hv credit in?.
ReplyDeleteThe score is too low for Medicine even with better grades in O'level
DeleteWhen is lasu screening commensing
ReplyDeleteNo date announced yet.
DeletePls Sir can I study Nursing with my UTME score (203) and my Waec results (MathsB2,EngB3,BioB2,PhyB3,ChemB3)
ReplyDeleteThe UTME score was too low for Nursing. Yet, you can try you luck.
