Let’s talk about when the post UTMEs of your universities, polytechnics or colleges of education will be on sales. Or Are they out already?

As soon as you have your JAMB result printed, the first thing that comes to mind is when should you be expecting the post UTMEs or screening forms to be out?

And as a matter of fact, several bloggers will mislead candidates on this. They will falsely update on sales of post UTME of certain institutions to drive traffics.

Hence, what this post will achieve is to get you ready for post UTMEs while guiding on when you should expect your schools to start selling their forms and how you will know when the time comes.

Private Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education Post UTMEs Starting Dates

In fact, private institutions don’t wait for JAMB to declare the national cut off marks before starting to sell post UTME forms. In fact, some start selling their post UTME/screening forms as soon as JAMB starts selling their UTME form or immediately the UTME registration ends.

For examples, Babcock University, Summit University, Iwo City Polytechnic, BOWEN University, Crescent University and a few other private schools could be selling their forms already.

Therefore, if you want to try any private universities, check their admission portals right now for updates on their sales of post UTME or screening forms.

Public Universities, Polytechnics or Colleges Post UTME/Screening Dates

Asking when a public university's or institution's Post UTME form is coming out will require a different answer. Let’s see how things will go with them.

A majority of (if not all) government-owned institutions will start selling post UTME/screening forms as soon as JAMB announces the national cut off mark. I have explained this in the second stage to after JAMB and result release.

This waiting is very common among the federal institutions really. By law, they’re required to wait until that is announced. This is because these schools are expected to be at the stakeholders meeting where the national cut off marks will be decided.

However, states universities have the right to wait for JAMB's announcement of the national cut off mark before proceeding with the sales of their forms or choose to sell forms without waiting. Kwara State University (KWASU) and Nigerian Police Academy (POLAC) for instance, will start selling forms immediately UTME results are released.
