Can I Change Institutions & Courses at Same Time?

On visiting the nearest CBT center, your attendant interest is what you intend to change.

You can choose to change your institutions only and retain the courses there. You can as well change the courses without changing the institutions. So also, it's possible to change both courses and institutions - all these at the same time!

Yes, on your visit to change institutions, you can change the courses too. In fact, you can change all four institutions and four courses at the same - just the same way you decided on all that you chose during the UTME/DE registration.

Even though candidates don't change the eight items, in most cases, my point is to point to you that you're free to do any change you want with your courses and institutions, and can be done at the same time.

All One-Time Changes Require One Payment Only

You might have asked this question if you're thinking your attempt to change schools and courses at the same time might cost you more - separately for each.

The good news is that JAMB requires you to pay the same fee to cover both the change of institutions and courses if it's done at the same time.

For example, if you want to change institution(s) only, you'll pay N2500 for that. If you want to change the course(s) only, you'll pay N2500. Luckily for you, if you want to change both schools and courses, at the same time, you'll still pay the same amount.

In summary,

1. N2500 for change of course(s) only
2. N2500 for change of institution(s) only
3. N2500 for change of both courses and institution(s) - if done at the same time.

Conclusion

You're allowed to change your institutions and courses, at the same time without extra. The portal allows you to change any of the institutions and courses if you consider doing it once.

Of course, you can also do it at different times. Although that approach will require you to pay again for each attempt.
