How to Obtain OAU Direct Entry (DE) Form

To obtain the Direct Entry (DE) form for Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), you must first obtain the JAMB DE form, which requires an advanced qualification such as A-levels, ND, HND, NCE, or similar, along with your SSCE results; then, visit the OAU admission portal, create an account, fill in the necessary information, upload required documents, make the payment, and submit your application.

A True OAU Direct Entry Form Has to Do With JAMB

Though not JAMB UTME, you will still need to obtain a JAMB form called the Direct Entry form. This will not require writing any JAMB exam though. Just obtain the form, and fill in your universities and courses of choice.

This is strictly for candidates who had completed an advanced programme other than SSCE e.g. BSC. HND, ND, NCE, NR, RM, IJMB, JUPEB etc.

Process of Obtaining OAU Direct Entry Form

This is also called the OAU post-DE application. Applicants must possess any of the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of two A-level passes or its equivalent in relevant subjects 
2. A National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent in a relevant field of study from a recognized institution.
3. Applicants must also possess the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level, Higher School Certificate (HSC), or their equivalent with passes in two relevant subjects.
4. Applicants must also have the necessary O'Level requirements for their proposed course of study.
5. Applicants must obtain and register for the JAMB Direct Entry form
6. Applicants must also meet the minimum requirements for their proposed course of study, as stipulated by the OAU admission office.

Note that the university's post-DE form will be available at the same time it's selling its post-UTME form. To obtain the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Direct Entry (DE) form (Post-DE form), you can follow the steps below:

1. Visit the OAU admission portal at https://admissions.oauife.edu.ng/
2. Click on "Create Account" to create an account on the portal.
3. After creating an account, log in to the portal with your email and password.
4. Click on "Direct Entry" on the menu and select "Start a New Application".
5. Fill in the required information on the form and upload the required documents.
6. Make payment for the application form using the available payment options.
7. After payment, submit your application and print out the confirmation page.
