The Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) offers various part-time degree programs including daily, weekend, and sandwich options, each with specific schedules and durations; interested candidates must meet the eligibility requirements, obtain and complete the application form online, pay the necessary fees, and can choose from a wide range of courses across multiple faculties.
All interested candidates are hereby invited to obtain the university part-time degree application form which will be conducted on the university premises.
FUOYE daily part-time program allows candidates to attend classes from Monday to Friday. This is more or less like full-time as admitted candidates will spend the same years, for their courses, just like the full-time candidates. Candidates here will be processed for NYSC at the end of their program.
FUOYE Weekend part-time program is a 5/6-year weekend part-time course (depending on the course) for candidates who will attend classes on Fridays and Saturdays.
FUOYE Sandwich program is a weekend/long vacation course that is targeted at candidates (usually teachers) who are more likely to be available for classes during selected weekends and on long-term school vacations.

Duration of the Part-Time Program
- REGULAR DAILY PART-TIME (DPT) (12PM - 8PM DAILY) - Currently on sale!
- WEEKEND PART-TIME (WPT) (FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS) - Currently on sale!
- SANDWICH (WEEKENDS AND LONG-VACATIONS) - Currently on sale!
FUOYE Part-Time Admission Requirements and Eligibility
- Candidates must have completed SSCE with at least five credits in relevant O'level subjects to their proposed courses.
- The JAMB registration number or score is optional for the applicants. In other words, you can apply whether you did JAMB or not.
- SSCE results acceptable include WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, and GCE or a combination of two. Candidates are allowed to combine two results in all forms e.g. WAEC plus WAEC, NECO plus WAEC, NECO plus NECO, NECO plus NABTEB, etc.
- Direct entry applicants should possess any of NCE, OND, HND, BSC, etc.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years as at the time of the admission
- Candidates awaiting results may not apply

FUOYE Part-Time Programs Method of Application and Payment
- Interested applicants are to visit the University Part-Time admission portal or click https://ecampus.fuoye.edu.ng/putme/application-form to apply and for further instructions.
- Select the right faculty, pick the interested course, and supply the other required details (ignore the spaces for the JAMB registration number and score)
- Click "Create Profile" to get your application number shown on the screen. Copy that and log in to start your application
- Fill out the portal access form and submit it. Then, log in to your email to click the activation link sent to you.
- After clicking the activation link, make the twenty-five thousand naira (N25,000.00) excluding the remita charges. You will also pay ten thousand naira n(N10,000.00) (excluding the online transaction charges) for the screening fee
- After the successful payment, log in to fill in the rest of the form, verify your O'level result, and submit. Then, print the acknowledgment slip.
- The application remains open until further notice

For week part-time, it's also called daily part-time. You will be going to classes form Monday to Friday. For weekend part-time, you only got to class on Friday and Saturdays.

For the first question, NO. The university may ask you to register for what they call JAMB part-time form. You won't write UTME for that. Rea more about it through the links below.

For the second question, NO, the person was wrong. If you register for the daily-part-time option, you have the same access as your full-time counterparts. The main difference, is that your fee may be higher than theirs.

I'm not sure if the form will be out this year. The university is selling the regular part-time for now and that may continue into the future. The last year may be the only DPT they will ever admit.
