You're on the right page if you want to know about the Federal University Oye Ekiti part-time (PT) degree programme, the nature of the course, the list of the available courses, the price, method of application, and more.


All interested candidates are hereby invited to obtain the university part-time degree application form which will be conducted on the university premises.


FUOYE part-time programmes are two, including 5-year weekend part-time courses for candidates who will attend classes on Fridays and Saturdays.


The other part-time programme is a 4-year week programme (daily part-time), (except if your course is normally 5 years), just like full-time courses, with candidates attending classes from Mondays to Fridays.

Prospective Part-time StudentsDear Applicant,

I am pleased to inform you that the Institute of Part-time Studies, Federal University Oye-Ekiti has held its 1st and 2nd batches of admission screening exercises for the 2020/2021 academic session. However, if you have submitted your form and you have not been screened, you are strongly advised to visit the Institute of Part-studies office, behind the Faculty of Science Building, beside the 3-in-1 Laboratory, Phase II, Oye Campus with the following documents:


  1. A copy of the printed Application Form,
  2. Two (2) recent Passport Photographs,
  3. O’Level Result(s), ND, NCE, IJMB, JUBEB etc applicable only to the Direct Entry Applicants,
  4. Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age,
  5. State of Origin Certificate and
  6. N5,000 Screening Fees


... between 30/08/2021 and 03/11/2021 by 8am – 4pm each day for your screening as there will be no extension of time.

For those who have already accepted the offer of the Provisional Admission by paying their Acceptance Fees, medical and other registration process starts on the 13th day of September 2021 at the main campus (Oye-Ekiti).


Also kindly note that the payment of School Fees and other Sundry Fees are yet to commence as you are advised to await further instructions regarding all payments of the Institute of Part-time Studies which will be communicated through your Portal in due course.

Duration of the Part-Time Programme

  1. REGULAR DAILY PART-TIME (DPT) (12PM - 8PM DAILY) 
  2. WEEKEND PART-TIME (WPT) (FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS) 

FUOYE Part-Time Admission Requirements and Eligibility

  1. Candidates must have completed SSCE with at least five credits in relevant O'level subjects to their proposed courses.
  2. SSCE results acceptable include WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, and GCE or a combination of two. Candidates are allowed to combine two results in all forms e.g WAEC plus WAEC, NECO plus WAEC, NECO plus NECO, NECO plus NABTEB etc.
  3. Candidates must be at least 16 years as at the time of the admission
  4. Candidates awaiting results may not apply
  5. Candidates won't need to register for or write JAMB to obtain the form

FUOYE Part-Time Programmes Screening Schedules and Requirements

You are hereby invited to attend the Screening Exercise (2nd Batch) scheduled to hold between (August 13 and 14, 2021) at the Institute of Part-time Studies, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Biometric Centre behind UBA Oye-Ekiti with the following credentials (ORIGINAL COPIES for sighting and photocopies for submission):

  1. Printed Copy of the Application Form
  2. O’Level Result(s)
  3. Scratch Card(s) for Verification of O’Level Result(s)
  4. Two (2) Passport Photographs
  5. OND, NCE & HND Certificate(s) as appropriate
  6. Birth Certificate / Declaration of Age
  7. Local Government Attestation
  8. N5,000 Screening Fees

Please note that failure to subject yourself to this Screening Exercise personally with the above documents will render your admission not being processed.

FUOYE Part-Time Programmes Method of Application and Payment

  1. Interested applicants are to visit the University Part-Time admission portal or click https://ddtsms.fuoye.edu.ng/ to apply and for further instructions
  2. Fill the form and make a payment of fifteen thousand naira (N18,000)
  3. Submit your application after the completion and print the acknowledgement slip of submission
  4. The application remains open until further notice. Hence, if you're reading this after the first batch, you can still apply and wait for the 2nd batch screening schedule.

Candidates should regularly visit the portal, their registered emails and SMS for updates about their admission status.

    1. For week part-time, it's also called daily part-time. You will be going to classes form Monday to Friday. For weekend part-time, you only got to class on Friday and Saturdays.

      Candidates for daily part-time will be going for NYSC surly. Those for weekend part-time may not go for NYSC.

    1. The school may not combine you together. They will start class by 8am and you're likely to start by 12pm. Then, the lectures and exams will be the same.

    1. For the first question, NO. The university may ask you to register for what they call JAMB part-time form. You won't write UTME for that. Rea more about it through the links below.

      For the second question, NO, the person was wrong. If you register for the daily-part-time option, you have the same access as your full-time counterparts. The main difference, is that your fee may be higher than theirs.
