How to Obtain UNILAG Direct Entry Form

When you hear about the direct entry form to a university e.g. the University of Lagos, you may mistake that to be a "form to obtain to gain admission into UNILAG without the need for JAMB.

No, that's not called the Direct Entry form. You're looking for "Direct Admission Without JAMB" instead.

UNILAG Direct Entry Form Is Not For SSCE Holders

Forms that will give you admission into UNILAG without JAMB can be any of the following:

1. Part-Time programmes form
2. Foundation programmes form
3. Distance Learning form
4. etc.

For the above-listed programmes, all you need is O'level result (SSCE).

The first step is to obtain the Direct Entry form to be sold by Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board. This is a yearly exercise that happens at the very time SSCE holders are also obtaining JAMB UTME forms.

During the registration, you're to choose UNILAG as your first choice university. This is the only way you can process its admission furthermore.

Obtain UNILAG Post DE Form After JAMB DE Form

After obtaining the JAMB DE form, you have a waiting period till the university starts selling its post-UTME/DE form. When the form is on, you'll obtain it and await admission.

When the time comes, to obtain the direct entry form for the University of Lagos (UNILAG), you will need to follow these steps:

1. Visit the UNILAG website at www.unilag.edu.ng
2. Click on the "Admissions" tab on the homepage.
3. Select "Direct Entry" from the drop-down menu.
4. Read through the admission requirements and ensure that you are eligible.
5. Click on the "Apply Now" button to start your application process.
6. Fill in the required information in the application form, and upload your credentials and passport photograph.
7. Pay the application fee as specified by the school through the payment platform provided.
