The University of Lagos (UNILAG) Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) offers evening/part-time academic and professional programs, featuring courses like Creative Arts, English Language, Education, Health Education, and Social Sciences, with eligibility requirements including a minimum age of 16, possession of relevant SSCE results, and completion of the JAMB sandwich/part-time form, and the application process involves registering on the UNILAG application portal, paying the processing fee, completing the application form, participating in an entrance examination, and submitting required documents to the designated department and ICE office.
The Institute of Continuing Education offers evening/part-time academic and professional programs for students, teachers, adult learners, and workers who may not be able to undertake regular full-time studies at the University.

Currently, there are available viable Sandwich and Evening Programmes in some Faculties at the University. The Programmes running in the Institute (ICE) are as follows:

UNILAG ICE (Evening/Part-Time) Program Admission Requirements and Eligibility
- Generally, JAMB is not required. But you're required to obtain the JAMB sandwich/part-time form at any JAMB office nationwide
- Candidates must be at least 16 years by the time of admission
- SSCE result (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE) is acceptable provided it has the 5 required subjects for the proposed course. Two sittings are allowed for any of the courses.
- Application is opened to 100-level and 200-level admission seekers provided you're qualified as detailed in the official admission requirements.

UNILAG ICE (Evening/Part-Time) Program Method of Application and Payment
- Visit any JAMB office to register for the JAMB sandwich/part-time program. You'll be required to pay a sum of ₦3,500 to enable you to obtain a JAMB registration number. NO UTME EXAM is required.
- Log in to the UNILAG application portal – http://applications.unilag.edu.ng.
- Click “Start Fresh Application”
- Select ICE as the application type, then provide your Surname, First Name, Middle Name, JAMB
- registration number, Mobile Phone Number, and E-mail Address.
- Click the “Pay now” to pay online, the processing fee of ₦11,500 (Eleven Thousand, Five Hundred Naira Only) or Print the Payment Advice with Remita Number to make payment at any bank within the University of Lagos.
- v. Return to the Application Portal - http://applications.unilag.edu.ng after payment, click “continue application”, and enter your payment reference number and your surname in lower case as password.
- Complete all the required details and upload the necessary documents
- Complete the application form, submit it online, and print two copies. (Candidate can save their application form for later editing)
- Submit one of the hard copies of the completed forms in color prints to the Department you have applied to and one to the ICE office.

Important Notice!
- The deadline for submission of the Application form is one week before the scheduled qualifying examination date
- Candidates are required to participate in an entrance examination for these programmes which will be in English Language and General Paper. For Management sciences, Mathematics is inclusive.
- Candidates are expected to be at the examination venue by 7.45 am with a color print of their application forms.
- Provisional Admission Letters would be ready for collection two weeks after the entrance examination.
- Date of the qualifying examination will be announced through the ICE website and via text messages to candidates.
