2. Crescent University is located in Abeokuta, Ogun State accepts NCE or its approved equivalent in Botany, Zoology,   Biology and Chemistry.
3. Benson Idahosa University, Benin City Edo State accepts, in addition to the SSCE requirements, NCE 3 with at least merits in the relevant subject/programme.
4. Crawford University Igbesa, Ogun state accepts NCE in Biology, Food Technology or Botany
5. Evangel University, Akaeze Ebonyi State accepts NCE in a related programme in addition to the SSCE requirements.
6. Federal University Dutse Jigawa State accepts NCE in relevant subjects (Biology, Botany, Chemistry and Physics) in addition to SSCE requirements
7. Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi (FUAM), Benue State accepts NCE in relevant subjects/courses that would be considered in addition to the SSCE subject requirements.
8. Godfrey Okoye University Ugwuomu- Nike Enugu State accepts NCE in related programmes plus the SSCE subject requirements
9. Kebbi State University of Science and Technology Aliero accepts NCE or its equivalent in Biology and Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or Technical Drawing in addition to the SSCE subjects requirements. 
10. Umaru Musa Yar'adua University Katsina Katsina State accepts NCE in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. 
11. The Nile University of Nigeria Abuja accepts at least NCE merit in relevant programmes.
12. Kings University Ode-Omu, Osun State accepts NCE/ND/HND in related fields plus SSCE subject requirements.
13. Oduduwa University Ipetumodu Osun State accepts NCE in related programmes.
14. Edo State University Uzairue,(formerly Edo University Iyamho) accepts NCE in relevant courses together with the required SSCE subjects
15. Federal University Dutsin-Ma Katsina State accepts NCE with good grades in any relevant field.
16. Federal University Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State accepts overall ‘B’ grades in relevant courses or subjects in NCE
17. Bayero University Kano, Kano State accepts NCE – Minimum of a B grade in the relevant subject combination, minus education in all programmes in the Faculty of Life Sciences.
18. Federal University Wukari Taraba State accepts, at least, a merit pass at  NCE. The candidate must also satisfy SSCE subject requirements of Five (5) Credits including English Language and Mathematics.
19. Federal University Lokoja Kogi State accepts, in addition to meeting the SSCE entry requirements, an NCE credit pass in Chemistry and Biology
