11+ Universities/Courses That Accept NCE for 300 Level Admissions Through DE

Do you want admission into 300 level through direct entry? And you want to consider universities accepting NCE for this? In other words, you have NCE and you want a university that can offer you admission into 300 level instead of the usual 200 level. Here is a collection of courses and universities that may admit on such terms.

Background of Direct Entry for NCE Holders

An NCE graduate or holder has already undergone three-year studies in a college of education which led to the award of Nigeria Certificate In Education. This set of candidates may proceed into universities of choice through JAMB Direct Entry. Obtaining DE will allow them to process admissions into universities of education or universities offering education courses.

In most cases, DE candidates are admitted into 200 level of their proposed courses. Hence, they’re to spend an additional 3 years in the university before they can be awarded a Bachelor of Science Education (B.Sc Ed. or B.Ed).

However, some universities may give you 300 level admissions instead. Hence, you will only need to spend 2 years at university instead. Below is the list of those universities and the courses they allow this for.

List of Universities Accepting NCE Holders into 300 Level though Direct Entry
