Npower Batch C list is out. Candidates who participated in the just-concluded profile updates and online tests are to check if they've been shortlisted.

Npower batch C biometric/Fingerprint Capturing and enrollment exercise has begun online.

In case you're waiting for a physical verification for the incoming batch C of Npower beneficiaries, be informed that the fingerprint capturing will now be done online on the official website of the scheme.

Below are the details to know before you take part in the exercise.

Requirements to Qualify for Npower Batch C Fingerprint Enrollment

To be qualified for the verification stage, the Npower team has done their homework to fish out people deemed not qualified for the scheme. 

In addition, candidates who should expect to be scheduled for the verification should satisfy the following terms.

1. Applicants must have successfully completed the online profile updates. This was the uploading of your documents, passport, bank details, and other personal data before you were allowed to write the test back then.
2. Applicants must have attempted, completed, and submitted the test and got his or her test score as well.
3. Candidates not selected can re-apply for the next batch of the programme as soon as it opens for application.

Steps to Start and Complete Npower Biometric/Fingerprint Verification

Applicants are required to follow the steps below to get their captured and verified.

1. Visit the NASIM Official Portal or click https://nasims.gov.ng/login
2. There, locate login section
3. Fill in your email or application ID
4. The email must be the one used during the profile update and test exercise
5. You can get your application ID on your registration slip
6. Click proceed to login
7. If you see the error "Transaction failed, please try again later", it's a temporary portal issue. You have to try again in a few hours
8. After a successful login, locate the tab for VERIFICATION on your dashboard. Click that to see the steps for fingerprint capturing and enrollment
9. You can't capture your fingerprint on your phone no matter how advanced it is. For the capturing, use the service of a professional cafe around you.
10. Candidates should note that if they're not shortlisted now, that doesn't imply they won't be considered. This is the is for stream 1 the batch C. More candidates from this batch will be called, later (no date announced yet), to do their enrollment too. Those are stream 1 candidates.

Problems Enrolling the Fingers, Why?

I've got complaints that the platform to enroll fingerprints is complaining. Errors such as "Some errors occur" were reported.

To solve this problem, kindly follow any of the following guides.

1. Be sure you install all the necessary software on your computer. You should make sure the right bit of the capturing UareU scanner is installed i.e  32bit or 64bit.
2. Be sure you install the latest update of the NPOWER Biometric Enrollment as the team continually updates that software to software usually issues.
3. Be sure that you're not installing a different fingerprint software on the same computer you're using. If you already have one, install it before installing this.
4. If all are done well, but still receiving the errors, it should be temporary for the Npower end. Be sure you check back in a few days and retry.
