FCFMT Post UTME (2023): Cut Off Mark, Price and Closing Date

FEDERAL COLLEGE OF FISHERIES AND MARINE TECHNOLOGY (FCFMT)  2023/2024 POST UTME ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE

This is to notify the general public and all candidates, who selected the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology (FCFMT) as their choice of Institution for the 2023 JAMB UTME that the post UTME screening exercise is in progress.

The Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology is a higher education institute located on Victoria Island in Lagos, Nigeria. It is a monotechnic approved by the National Board for Technical Education

JAMB candidates who did not previously select FCFMT as their choice institution but are desirous of gaining admission into the College and have a JAMB UTME score of at least 100 are also encouraged to participate in the screening exercise for the following courses:

1. Marine Engineering
2. Nautical Science
3. Maritime Transport and Business Studies
4. Industrial and Labour Studies
5. Fisheries Technology

FCFMT Courses, UTME, and SSCE Subjects Combination and Requirements

Marine Engineering (ND)
UTME: Mathematics, English, Physics, and  Chemistry
SSCE: O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any (1) from Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Biology/Agricultural Science, and Geography.

Nautical Science(ND)
UTME: Mathematics, English, Physics, Geography
SSCE: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Geography and any one (1) of the following Chemistry, Technical Drawing, and Economics/Commerce.

Fisheries Technology (ND)
UTME: Mathematics, English, Biology/Agriculture, Chemistry
SSCE: O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, and any other Science or Social Science subject.

Maritime Transport and Business Studies (ND)
UTME: Mathematics, English, Commerce/Economics, Geography/Government
SSCE: Mathematics, English, Commerce/Economics, Geography/Government

Industrial Relation & Labour Studies (ND)
UTME: English, Government, Economics/Commerce and Literature in English
SSCE: O’ level credit passes in English Language, Government, Economics/Commerce/Accounts and any two (2) from Literature in English, Mathematics, Biology/Chemistry/Physics and Geography/ Agricultural Science.

Horticulture ND
UTME: English, Government, Economics/Commerce, and Literature in English
SSCE: O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/ Agricultural Science, and any other Science or Social Science subject.

After completing your ND programme, you can proceed to obtain the polytechnic's HND form or any other polytechnic. You can also obtain a Direct Entry form to any degree-awarding university in the same or related course.

FCFMT Post UTME Method of Application and Payment

Prospective Candidates will visit http://applications.fcfmt.edu.ng and select your application type from the menus .i.e. Select POST-UTME. The Prospective candidates would be required to submit the following information:

1. Surname
2. Middle Name
3. First Name
4. UTME Registration No
5. Telephone
6. Email Address

Note: Both Telephone no and email must be active and personal to the applicant

2. Click on PROCEED

3. On the next page, a transaction reference no, along with your personal information will be displayed. Select how you want to pay your application fees:

4. A transaction Success page will be displayed, once you make payment. If you pay your RRR no at the bank, come back to the portal after 24 hrs of payment to continue your application.
ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR ALL CANDIDATES
STEP I
After successful payment for the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology 2023/2024 Online Admission Screening Exercise, return to applications.fcfmt.edu.ng and CLICK CONTINUE APPLICATION Button

STEP II
If you applied for POST-UTME Screening, Use your JAMB Registration Number AND your SURNAME to login to the FCFMT Online application Platform at http://applications.fcfmt.edu.ng to complete your applications.

Other applicants (ND part-time, HND Full time, and Part-Time) should use their application number as username and surname in lowercase as the password to login to the FCFMT Online application Platform at http://applications.fcfmt.edu.ng to complete your application form.

STEP III
Carefully fill in your personal details as required
Carefully enter your UTME details
Fill in your O’Level details
Scan and Upload your passport photograph, NOT MORE THAN 20KB (jpg)

Submit your application
