This is to inform the general public, parents, sponsors and eligible prospective applicants that admission form into National Diploma courses of Nigerian Maritime Academy Oron Delta State is now on sales. All interested applicants should take note of details information including the requirements, cut off mark and processes of the application below.
Maritime Academy of Nigeria is a National Diploma and Higher National Diploma award school. After completing your ND or HND, you can then proceed to any university to pursue equivalent degree course through JAMB direct entry.

Post UTME/ND Full-Time Admission Requirements and Eligibility

  1. Candidates seeking admission into any programme of the Maritime Academy of Nigeria must have a functional and accessible electronic mail address (E-mail) and Mobile number.
  2. The Admission process into National Diploma programmes of the Academy is through Joint Admissions And Matriculation Board (JAMB)/Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  3. Candidates who are interested in the programmes of the Academy must sit for UTME
  4. Lists of successful candidates are always forwarded to the Academy for further action after the examination.
  5. Candidates that meet the Cut Off Point should log in to the portal using the Jamb registration Number as Username and Jamb Score as Password.
  6. Candidates are subjected to screening exercise/Aptitude Test as may from time to time be decided by the Management/Regulatory Authority.
  7. Candidates must pass Medical Examination and Physical Fitness before he/she can be considered for admission.
  8. Candidates must have at least Five (5) credit passes at O/Level (WASC, GCE, NECO, NABTEB etc) not more than two (2) sittings.

Maritime Academy Cut Off Marks for Courses

Below is the Academy Jamb cut-off mark for 2018/2019 Academic year:
  1. Nautical Science: Minimum of 180
  2. MARINE ENGINEERING Minimum of 180

Method of Application and Payment

  1. Visit the school's Post UTME Portal
  2. Login using the following Details: Username = Jamb Registration No. , Password = Jamb Score on the school's admission portal for ND full time registration
  3. Payment for the post UTME during Online Registration is N2000 excluding N300 bank charges. 
  4. Upload your passport and complete your profile (Click Browse/Search or Choose File). Acceptable format is JPEG and PNG. Picture must be digital passport photograph. Resolution must be at least 200 DPI. Each photograph should capture the head and top of the shoulders so that the face takes up to 70-80% of the photograph, Show the eyes looking directly at the camera, Show skin tone naturally, Image must be less than 100kb. 
  5. Complete the Field with all Information Requested. Note: All fields with * are compulsory and must be completed. Failure to provide all necessary information may result in automatic disqualification. 
  6. Print the Payment Slip or use the Transaction ID to pay at the bank(using Etranzact Platform). Note confirm that your information is correct at the bank before payment. A confirmation Order will be given to your after payment. 
  7. Print the Application Slip and bring along when invited for Screening 
  8. The Application Status show process. Complete or Incomplete All Blue (Application Completed)
