This is to inform all UTME and Direct Entry candidates who applied for admission to Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, for the 2019/2020 academic session that the Supplementary Admission Screening Exercise will close on Sunday, 15th December 2019.

AAUA Post UTME/DE Requirements and Eligibility

  1. Those who made Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) their institution of the first choice in the 2019/2020 UTME and scored 180 and above;
  2. Direct Entry candidates who chose AAUA as their institution of the first choice; and
  3. Those who sat for the 2019/2020 UTME, scored 180 & above and are willing to make Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko their institution of the first choice.
  4. Candidates who did not make Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, their institution of the first choice initially, but are willing to choose AAUA, should make the necessary change of Institution on JAMB Portal to AAUA not later than Sunday, 15th December, 2019.
  5. Aspirants must have written 4 relevant subjects for their proposed courses in JAMB UTME. They must have, as well, possess at least 5 credits in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE (in not more than two sittings) for their proposed courses.

AAUA Post UTME/DE Method of Application and Payment

  1.  First, check the list of courses newly advertised and their required cut off marks before you proceed for application.
  2. All eligible candidates are to visit the University website https://putme.aaua.edu.ng to register after the payment of N2,000.00 (two thousand naira) only, including bank charges.
  3. Candidates should log on to the University’s admission screening portal with VALID JAMB Registration Number to Create Account and generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) to make payment at any commercial bank. See How To Make Remita Payment at Bank and Online: Quick Guide.
  4. Please note that the candidate’s UTME Registration Number and the Full Names (as it is on JAMB Slip) should be correctly provided at the point of payment and registration.
  5. Candidates are to obtain a print-out containing the RRR number from the Bank upon payment of N2,000.00 only.
  6. After successful payment, candidates are to return to the University portal to complete Biodata Form online and print out Examination Slip.

General Screening Instructions to all Candidates

  1. Candidates are advised to correctly upload their O’Level results and current passport photographs on the portal. A maximum of two (2) sittings is allowed in the case of O’Level requirements. The image format for the passport is JPEG and must not exceed 50kb. The passport photograph must be clean and clear without glasses and a cap/head tie.
  2. AAUA accepts WAEC, NECO and NABTEB O’Level results.
  3. Candidates awaiting O’Level results may also apply.
  4. Candidates are to click on Admission requirements to check on UTME and O’Level requirements for their course of choice. Candidates are advised to read the O’Level requirements of their courses and select the right FIVE subject combinations for their courses, which must include credit passes in English Language and Mathematics.
  5. Candidates who did not comply with the UTME subject/O’Level requirements are requested to change to the appropriate course on JAMB CAPS in order to be considered for admission.
  6. Candidates should ensure that the on-line form is carefully completed, following ALL necessary instructions, as “mistake(s)” may be seen as misrepresentation/falsification of documents, which shall lead to disqualification.
  7. Candidates are then to print-out evidence of completion of the transaction and keep for future reference.
  8. Cell phones and other electronic devices are not allowed at the venue of the screening exercise.
  9. Candidates are to arrive at the screening venue an hour before the commencement of the exercise.
  10. It is compulsory for all candidates to participate in the screening exercise to enable them to be considered for admission by the University.

Date of Post UTME

  1. The university doesn't conduct post UTME for this year. Candidates will be offered admissions based on their performances in the JAMB UTME.
  2. For the purpose of this Supplementary admission, candidates are advised to consider the less competitive courses for a broader chance to be offered admission. Check the courses and their required cut off marks here.
