    OYO STATE COLLEGE OF NURSING ELEYELE NURSING ADMISSION FORM AND PROCEDURES

    Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following programme of Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Eleyele, Ibadan.

    1. ND/HND Nursing Programme of Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Eleyele

    Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Eleyele wishes to bring to the notice of the general public and prospective students into the college that the college have been accredited to award dual certificate of Ordinary National Diploma in Nursing (OND) and Higher National Diploma in Nursing (HND).

    The ND/HND Nursing programme will run uninterruptedly by the same college. When completed, graduates will be eligible and qualified to serve at NYSC just like other graduates from universities and polytechnics nationwide.

    Entry/Admission Requirements for the ND/HND Nursing Programme

    Applicants must:

    1. Possess WAEC/SSCE/GCE or NECO/SSCE/GCE with at least five (5) credits (at not more than two (2) sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology;
    2. Only individuals with required credit pass at not more than two (2) sittings. He or she should be at least Sixteen (17) years old on admission.
    3. Candidates must obtain the JAMB UTME form of the current admission year. Such candidates must have chosen the college as their first or second choice or later change to the college. Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery is listed with other institutions under the Polytechnic and College category in the JAMB registration process.
    4. Candidates must have equally taken English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in UTME and scored 200 or above (as the cut-off mark determined by the management of the college).

    Method of Application and Payment For the ND/HND in Nursing Programme

    Interested candidates are to follow the under-listed process for online application through the college website: www.oysconme.edu.ng.

    1. Online payment with the sum of Ten Thousand (N15,000.00) via https://www.oysconme.edu.ng/admission/appform where the application form fee is expected to be made. The fee covers Two Thousand Naira (#2,000.00) for Post UTME and seven Thousand Naira (N13,000.00) for verification of SSCE, WAEC or NECO as applicable per sitting 
    2. Generate Pin generated after payment should be printed out 
    3. After generating the pin, a link will direct you to the page where you complete your application
    4. Photocard must be printed out by the applicant, which is expected to be brought to the College for endorsement
    5. Alternatively, you may wish to come to the College ICT Centre with your ATM card for their online payment, if you find the process cumbersome.
    6. Closing Date: Friday, 16th August, 2024

    Computer Assisted Screening (CAS)

    Computer Assisted Screening date is:

    Date: Monday, 26th August to Wednesday, 28th August, 2024
    Venue: OYSCONME Premises 
    Time: 8.00 am prompt 

    Successful candidates must pay a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of Forty Thousand Naira (N40,000.00) only.

    2. Basic Midwifery Programme of Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Eleyele

    The college continues selling its Basic midwifery programme form yearly as usual. This form will usually by December/January of every year

    Basic Midwifery is a three-year (3) programme commencing from March annually, after which candidates will be presented for both the College and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) Final Qualifying Examinations to qualify as Midwives and be eligible for registration with NMCN as Registered Midwife (RM). Read about the difference between basic midwifery and basic nursing programme here.

    Entry/Admission Requirements for the Basic Midwifery Programme

    Applicants must:

    1. Possess WAEC/SSCE/GCE or NECO/SSCE/GCE with at least five (5) credits (at not more than two (2) sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology;
    2. Only individuals with required credit pass at not more than two (2) sittings. He or she should be at least Sixteen (17) years old on admission.

    Method of Application and Payment For the Basic Midwifery Programme

      1. Any interested candidate should pay the sum of Ten Thousand and five hundred Naira (N15,000:00) only to the College Account through the online payment platform at https://oysconme.edu.ng/admission/appform
      2. Register an Account on this page. The Email Address and phone number supplied have to be unique and will serve as your Registration ID to make payment
      3. The name provided must be the real name of the applicant
      4. After successfully registering an Email Address, It will automatically sign you in, and you will eventually see a pay button
      5. Once you click the pay button, it will redirect you to the payment gateway where you will need to provide your card details
      6. After a successful payment, a registration number and a pin will be generated for you, and they will be used to complete your application
      7. Each applicant should write down or print the registration number and the pin generated because it will be used for all other processes
      8. candidates should print the completed copy and other details from the website on successful completion of the online admission application; and
      9. Candidates should come along with his/her photocard on the day of the examination


      1. Online application must be completed on or before Wednesday, 20th March, 2024. 
      2. Date of Entrance Examination (CBT): Monday, 22nd April — Wednesday, 24th April, 2024.
      3. Date of Interview: Monday, 29th April and Tuesday, 30th April, 2024
      4. Venue: Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Eleyele, Ibadan and School of Basic Midwifery, Kishi 
      5. Time: 8.00 am prompt
      6. Resumption Date: Monday, 13th May, 2024

          First, did you score 60% if you're not from Oyo state? Did you score 53% if you're from Oyo? If yes, did you participated in the just concluded interview? If yes, and you passed the interview to, you should waiting for your admission too. Otherwise to any of the above, try another school.
