UNIBEN (UBTH) School of Nursing (2024): Portal, Price and Closing Date

The University of Benin Teaching Hospital is pleased to announce that admissions into the College of Nursing Sciences for the 2024/2025 academic session are now open for the following programs:

National Diploma / Higher National Diploma in Nursing

Eligibility Criteria for Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME):

1. Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 17 years old.
2. JAMB Score: A minimum score of 180 in the 2024 JAMB examination is required.
3. Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of credit passes in the following subjects at O-level, WAEC, or NECO, in no more than two sittings:

• Mathematics
• English Language
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology

Application Procedure:

1. Change of Institution: Candidates are required to visit the nearest JAMB accredited center to change their institution to the School of Nursing, UBTH, Benin City.
2. Document Upload: Candidates must upload scanned copies of the following documents during registration to purchase the Post UTME form:

• JAMB result slip
• JAMB change of institution slip
• WAEC/NECO results
• Birth Certificate
• Passport photograph
• Ensure your O/L results are uploaded to the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS)

Important Dates:

1. Sale of Post UTME Forms: Commences on the 5th of June and closes on the 16th of August, 2024.
2. Post UTME Screening Test: Scheduled for Saturday, 31st of August, 2024.

Admission Process:

Upon admission, candidates are required to:

1. Visit the JAMB CAPS.
2. Pay the required admission fee.
3. Print the admission letter.
