It's smart to list the centres approved by JAMB, but it's unclear how to be sure they're truly accredited especially if you see them on other platforms than the official JAMB website. After all, having countless computers, the largest generator or an eye-catching building is not enough to affirm that a place is accredited to be a JAMB CBT entre.
Especially with some CBT centres being discredited and new ones being added almost every day, how can we be so sure a CBT centre is still accredited to date?
For the sake of transparency, I'm writing this post to give you the best possible explanation on how to know if a CBT centre is accredited CBT centre.
A CBT Centre Is Accredited If JAMB Says It Is
Every CBT centre is working in collaboration with JAMB. And the board reserves the right to approve, disapprove or disaccredit an already accredited CBT centre.
If this board should enlist any centre as accredited it's definitely accredited. There is no other way a layman like you or I will prove otherwise.

JAMB Has a Direct Page Dedicated To List Approved CBT Centres
The board, in order to clear your doubt and keep the public closer to having knowledge of CBT centres being added and removed, it has dedicated a page on its official website to give us the account.
Visiting the official link to see the updated number of accredited CBT centres across the country, http://centres.jamb.gov.ng/public.php, you'll be greeted with about 800 active ones.
However, while visiting, the number might have grown or dropped as the process of approval and delisting is continual.
If you doubt a CBT centre for any of your JAMB-related activities, the right place to go is the official link above. Trust anything you find there.
Conclusion
We've got cases of CBT being discredited but still parading itself as accredited. We have got some, yet to be approved, but taking advantage of unsuspecting admission seekers.
You should be sceptical! You don't want to bet your future on some criminals out there. Just visit the official link to confirm to the reality or any changes in the status of the CBT entre you're about to use.
