List of Courses Offered at National Open University, Nigeria

NOUN logo
National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is a distance learning institution. Prospective students can consider the university for any of its undergraduate courses. Although some courses are strictly for direct entry applicants- giving them admissions into the 200-level (e.g Nursing,  Public Health, and Environmental Health), other courses admit students into both 100-level (SSCE holders) and 200-level (using NCE, ND, HND, BSC, Diploma, A'level qualifications and certificates).

Also, at the same university, qualified candidates can opt-in for postgraduate courses including PGD(E), MSC, PhD etc

NOUN Admission doesn't require writing JAMB or passing it. However, admitted NOUN students may be required to register with JAMB under a separate arrangement called the NOUN-JAMB part-time registration. This is a way to allow JAMB to have the record of all admitted students to the distance learning course.

While registering for that, the following courses can be found under the JAMB CAPS and brochure for your section. But before that, candidates, directly apply through the school portal.

Either way, below is the list of courses available for any aspirant of the Nationa Open University of Nigeria.

Conclusion

Another point of notice is that the university has several study centres across the country with differences in the number of courses available at each study centre. Hence, a candidate will be informed (by the portal) after selecting your study centre and the course, whether the course is available there or not.

In other words, even though all NOUN's courses are listed in this post, not all will be available at all the available study centres.
