A candidate has taken to the official Twitter page of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board to ask for more clarification.
Please can you kindly find a solution to the Babcock University 2018 part-time students? They are unable to print the JAMB admission letters. And the caps is showing "You are not eligible to use CAPS". They have gone to their school admission OFFICER, but they couldn't find solutions to it.
JAMB observed that these affected applicants have not just applied to JAMB rightly as expected. Then, he was guided on what to do.
Part-Time students would have to create their profiles and make payments in the candidates' created profiles. After that, select which of the programmes (i.e. Part-time, Sandwich, Distance Learning or Open University); then log into JAMB Registration App with your profile email. A full page will open and you will put in all the necessary information and proceed to do biometrics and Image capturing. Then you get your printout.
This application will require payment of N3,500 to JAMB and N700 to the JAMB office or CBT centre. That said, cafes are not allowed to register candidates for part-time applications for JAMB. This is because it includes the use of fingerprints, biometrics and certain information capturing - which cafes are exempted from.
Also, registering with JAMB doesn't require you to write any exams. It's just a former means to capture your data by the admission and matriculation board.
In brief, from now on, Part-time, distance learning, and sandwich candidates – whether new or existing should be sure they register with JAMB to have access to things such as JAMB admission letters or mobilization for NYSC.

I'm a prospective candidate for this year academic session for DLI programme in Unilag. This Jamb registration for part time candidates affect me too. I've carefully followed your step by step guide as to go about the registration. I got to the stage of clicking on the part-time icon, but it says "I've to visit jamb state office " . How can I go about it again??

You need to create a new profile when you get to where they will do the registration for you.
DeleteI was admitted in 2018 into fedpoffa and we was ask to do jamb part time registration after wr got admitted but wr only paid #3500 to jamb on our profile but wr haven't completed out registration and I'm willing to take this year direct entry and my friend had completed his own and gotten the print out of jamb part time registration which contains Jamb registration number but that registration number is showing admission is not given yet so my question is that can we use that jamb registration number to register for direct entry?

ReplyDeleteYes. They may ask you if you have a JAMB number while the JAMB/DLC registration is ongoing, tell them you do.

ReplyDeleteYou don't need JAMB for DLC. You can just do JAMB DLC without using any existing JAMB number.

DeleteCan NOUN do the DL JAMB registration so as to go for Nysc, and can NECO be used for the registration
ReplyDeleteNOUN accepts WAEC, NECO and NABTEB. One of the purposes of DL JAMB registration is to allow DL graduates to go to service. However, till date NOUN is yet to produce grades on that term. May be very sooner.

I think they should print those for you at the point of registration. Go back there to collect it.

ReplyDeleteIf one café doesn't know how to do something, go elsewhere. Be sure you know if UNIUYO is offering part-time and make sure the form is already out.

ReplyDeleteIf the profile was created by sending your NIN to 55019, you can't change it. Then, you will use the same profile. If you didn't use that method to create the profile, you can create a new profile.

The JAMB part-time form you've done was ok. You don't need JAMB regularization again
