While registering for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE), you may want to consider the Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State. The university may also come to mind if you're trying to do the change of institutions/courses.

There are important things to note on any of the above occasions. You should be certain if the university has the proposed course, of the UTME subjects required for it, the SSCE subjects that are compulsory for the course, and in the case of the DE applicants, the base course and grade required.

Important Guidelines to Study the Brochure

1. For better understanding, below, you will see the names of the courses. And below each course, you will see the Direct Entry requirement numbered 1, SSCE i.e WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB subjects requirements numbered 2 with UTME subjects numbered 3.
2. Where the DE requirement states "A'level". This includes Advanced programmes qualifications such as JUPEB, IJMB, Cambridge, etc. Just be sure you know the one being accepted by the university
3. Only three UTME subjects will be included in each course. This is because English is general to all courses. Hence, it's not repeated to save spaces

1. 'A' Level passes or equivalent in Physics and Mathematics.
2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any from Introduction to Agricultural Science, Materials and Workshop Process and Machining, Tractor Layout Power Unit Under Carriage and Auto Electricity; Transmission System; Implement and Machine; Principles of Crop Husbandry and Land Use, Materials and Workshop Processes; Construction and Maintenance of Agricultural Machines; general Metal Work; General Wood Work and Building/Engineering Drawing. 
3. Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

8. Animal Production And Health Services 

1. Two ‘A’ Level passes or equivalent in Chemistry and one of Biology/Botany /Zoology/Agricultural Science/ Geography/Geology/ Mathematics/Economics
2. Five SSC credit passes in Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Physics and English Language.

9. Aquaculture And Fisheries Management 

1. Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry and Biology/Botany/Agric Science/Zoology/Physics.
2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics and Physics/Geography/Economics.
3. Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and Mathematics/ Physics

10. Biochemistry 

1. Two (2) 'A' Level passes chosen from Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Biology. (ii) NCE/ND/HND in related programmes plus the UTME requirements.
2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Biology.
3. Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.

11. Biological Science(s)

1. (i)    Two (2) 'A' Level passes to include one (1) of Botany, Zoology, Biology or Chemistry. (ii)    ND/NCE in related programme/subject.
2. Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and any other Science subject.
3. Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.

12. Botany 

1. Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Biology/Botany/Zoology and Chemistry or Physics.
2. Five (5) SSC Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
3. Biology, Chemistry and any other Science subject.

13. Chemistry 

1. i)  Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Chemistry and any one (1) of Physics, Mathematics or Biology. (ii)   ND/NCE with good grades in relevant 'O' Level subjects.
2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
3. Chemistry and two (2) of Physics, Biology and Mathematics. 

14. Civil Engineering

1. (i) 'A' Level passes in Physics and Mathematics. (ii) ND/HND upper credit at appropriate levels. 
2. Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language and one Science subject

15. Computer Science

1.  i) Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Chemistry, and one of Mathematics or Physics (ii) NCE merit in Mathematics and one (1) other Science.

1. Two A level subjects including Economics, Commerce/Business Studies. (ii) OND/ NCE in Business related subjects

3. FUNAAB requires English language, Mathematics, Economic or Geographyand any of  Social science or Science subjects

19. Environmental Management And Toxicology
