You cannot check WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results without the exam or registration number, but JAMB results can be checked using the phone number or email connected to the JAMB profile.
There are times you might have even lost the exam number or forgotten it completely and you're trying to check the result for any purpose including admission, jobs, or more.

However, some candidates still want to consider the possibility of checking their results without the exam numbers.
This was why one candidate, who intended to check his result, sent me the name of the school, his full name, and the year of the exam - believing, with that details, I should be able to check and print the result.
In this post, I will be answering your concern about this. Can you check a WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or JAMB result without the registration number?
No, You Can't Check SSCE Results Without the Exam Number
Exam or registration number is a prerequisite to checking your result online (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) or through SMS (in the case of WAEC/WAEC GCE). You will need this number in order to check and print your result. Buy NECO, WAEC, or NABTEB Result Checking Card to check and print your results.
Accordingly, the attached means of identification each exam body uses to know the result of the candidate that its database or result checking portal should load is the exam or registration number. Hence, it's compulsorily needed for checking.
Of course, two or more candidates can bear the same names, that's why they can't use names. Two exam centers can bear the same name, hence they can't use a center's name for the checking.
The only unique identification is the number assigned to an individual candidate which must be used before being able to check the result.
You Can Check JAMB Result Without the Exam or Registration Number
Although you can use your JAMB UTME registration number to check your result, yet it is also possible to use any of the following to check as well.
These two items, alternatively, can be used to check your JAMB result if you don't have access to the JAMB registration number or you've forgotten.
