While registering for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE), you may want to consider Bells University, Ota, Ogun State. The university may also come to mind if you're trying to change institutions/courses.

  3. Only three UTME subjects will be included in each course. This is because English is general to all courses. Hence, it's not repeated to save spaces

2. Applied Mathematics With Statistics

  1. (i) Two (2) 'A' Level passes from Mathematics, Physics, Economics or Chemistry. (ii) NCE merit in relevant subjects.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and two (2) other Science subjects.
  3. Mathematics and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Biology and Agricultural Science.

3. Architecture

  1. (i) Two (2) 'A' Level passes chosen from Mathematics or Physics and Chemistry, Geography or Fine Arts.(ii) ND/HND upper credits in relevant field.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further. Mathematics., Introduction to Building Construction, Bricklaying/Block laying, Concreting, Wall, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Joinery, Carpentry, Decorative Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing, Ceramics, Graphics Design, Graphic Printing, Basic Electricity.
  3. Physics, Mathematics, and any of Chemistry, Geography, Art, Biology and Economics.

4. Banking And Finance

  1. (i) Two (2)'A' Level passes in Accounting or Economics and one other subject. ii) NCE merit in relevant subjects. (iii) ND credit. (iv) Foundation International exams such as ICAN, ACCA, ICMA, GPFA.
  2. Five (5)SSC credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two (2) other relevant subjects.
  3. Mathematics, one Social Science subject and any other subject

5. Biochemistry

  1. Two (2) 'A' Level passes chosen from Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Biology. (ii) NCE/ND/HND in related programmes plus the UTME requirements.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Biology.
  3. Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.

6. Biomedical Engineering

  1. Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Chemistry and any one of Physics, Biology/ Zoology/Botany and Mathematics.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  3. Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

7. Biotechnology

  1. (i) 'A' Level passes in two (2) of Physics Chemistry, and Mathematics. (ii) ND/HND upper credit in relevant programmes.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language and any other Science subject.
  3. Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics or Biology.

8. Building Technology

  1. 'A' Level passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and any one of Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing. For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building/Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.
  3. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry

9. Business Administration

  1. Two (2)'A' Level passes including Economics.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two (2) other relevant subjects.
  3. Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject

10. Civil Engineering

  1. (i) 'A' Level passes in Physics and Mathematics. (ii) ND/HND upper credit at appropriate levels.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language and one Science subject
  3. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

11. Communication Technology

  1. 'A' Level passes/ND and HND in relevant subjects into 200 and 300 levels.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language, Economics and Mathematics.
  3. Mathematics, Economics and any one of Account, Commerce and Government.

12. Computer Engineering

  1. Three (3) 'A' Level passes in Pure Mathematics or Pure and Applied Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and English Language.
  3. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

13. Computer Science

  1. (i) 'A' Level passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. (ii) ND/HND in  Computer Science Upper/Lower credit respectively
  2. Five (5) SSC credits to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  3. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

14. Economics

  1. Two (2)'A' Level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government.
  2. Five (5)SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) of Arts or Social Science subjects.
  3. Economics, Mathematics and any of Government, History, Geography, Literature in English, French and Christian Religious Studies/Islamic Studies.

15. Electrical/Electronics Engineering

  1. Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and any other Science subject.
  3. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry

16. Estate Management

  1. Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Biology and Physics.
  2. Five (5) SSCE credit passes including Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.
  3. Mathematics, Economics and one other subject

17. Food Science And Technology

  1. Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry and Biology/Physics/Agric Science/Botany/Zoology.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Physics, Basic Catering and Food Services, Bakery and    Confectionaries, Hotel & Catering Crafty course (Cookery), Hotel & Catering Craft Course (Food /Drinks Services) and Basic Electricity.
  3. Chemistry, Mathematics/ Physics and Biology/ Agricultural Science

18. Food Science With Business

  1. Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry and Biology/Physics/Agric Science/Botany/Zoology.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Physics, Basic Catering and Food Services, Bakery and    Confectionaries, Hotel & Catering Crafty course (Cookery), Hotel & Catering Craft Course (Food /Drinks Services) and Basic Electricity.
  3. Chemistry, Mathematics/ Physics and Biology/ Agricultural Science

19. Food Technology

  1. (i)  'A' Level passes in two (2) of Physics Chemistry, and Mathematics. (ii) ND/HND upper credit in relevant programmes.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language and any other Science subject.
  3. Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics or Biology.

20. Home Economics

  1. Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes or equivalents in Chemistry and Biology/Botany/Agricultural Science/Economics/Physics/Mathematics/Geography/Accounting.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics, Physics, English Language and any one of Nutrition, Fine Arts, Textile, Construction, Technical Drawing, Basic Electricity, Basic Catering and Food  Services, Bakery and Confectioneries, General Metal Work, Men Garment Construction and Finishing, Spinning,  Weaving, Surface Design and Printing, Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing, Ladies Garment Construction and Finishing.  
  3. Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture and Mathematics/Physics or one (1) Social Science subject.

21. Industrial Chemistry

  1. (i) Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Chemistry and Mathematics (ii) ND in Science Technology or ND in relevant programmes with the UTME requirements.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology/Agricultural Science.
  3. Chemistry, Mathematics and any of Physics/Biology/ Agricultural Science.

22. Information Technology

  1. 'A' Level passes/ND and HND in relevant subjects into 200 and 300 levels.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language, Economics and Mathematics.
  3. Mathematics, Economics and any one of Account, Commerce and Government.

23. Management Technology

  1. Two (2) ‘A' Level passes in Economics, Accountancy, Business Management, Government and Geography. Candidate must haa ve Science background at 'O' Level.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes to include, English Language, Mathematics,  Economics and any other two (2) science subjects from Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, Health Science, Metal Works, Wood Work, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Nutrition and Food Science.
  3. Mathematics, Economics and any one of Chemistry, Physics or Biology.

24. Mechanical Engineering

  1. (i) Two (2) 'A' Level passes from Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics (ii) ND upper credit, NCE technical and HND in Mech. Engineering.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language and any other Science subject.
  3. Mathematics, Physics And Chemistry.

25. Mechatronics Engineering

  1. 'A' Level passes in any two (2) of  Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and any other Science subject.
  3. Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

26. Microbiology

  1. Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Chemistry and any one (1) from Biology, Zoology or Botany.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
  3. Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics.

27. Nutrition And Dietetics

  1. Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry, Biology and Agricultural Science, or Physics.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics, Physics and English Language.
  3. Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture and Mathematics/ Physics

28. Physics With Electronics

  1. NCE/Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Physics and Mathematics or Chemistry.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other Science subject from Further Mathematics and Biology or Agricultural Science.
  3. Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology.

29. Quantity Surveying

  1. (i) Two (2) 'A' Level passes chosen from Mathematics or Physics and Chemistry, Geography or Fine Arts. (ii) ND/HND upper credits in relevant field.
  2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further.   2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography, and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Government, Biology, Art, History, IRK/CRK, Social Studies and Tech Drawing.
