When To Reprint for JAMB to Know Venue, Date and Time?

Printing the UTME Schedule slips
As the UTME dates get closer, candidates will be curious to know then they will start to print the exam slips so as to know the exam venues, dates, and times.

The norm, for UTME, just like many other exams, is for candidates to print their exam schedules or slips before the date the CBT will start.

Printing the slip will not only let an individual candidate know his or her own venue but also the date and time for the test.

The question at hand is, for this year, when will the reprinting of the JAMB exam slips begin?

JAMB Exam Slips Printing Starts a Few Days to the First Day for UTME

There is no way to mention a particular day/date that you will reprint to know your exam date, time, and venue. The board will not even announce this just as they announce the UTME dates.

However, from experience, the exam slips printing usually starts about 7 to 8 days before the first exam day. This, the board does, to allow candidates to prepare for their own exam day - especially those who will be traveling.

For example, for the 2022 UTME, the exam period is from 6th May to 16th May. In this case, candidates should be on the lookout for the printing of the exam slips starting from the 30th of April, 1st or 2nd of May.

To know when slips are loaded for printing, within this period, always check the official website or follow my update on "How Can I Reprint JAMB UTME Slip?"

Must I Reprint on the First Day the Slips are Loaded?

No. You don't have to reprint the exam slip the first-day others are printing. In other words, it's not compulsory that all candidates must reprint the same day.

In fact, the website, to print these slips, might be too busy on day 1 because of the congestion by the trying candidates. In that case, some would only be able to check overnight, on the second or third day when the server was relieved.

In short, just print before the first day of the exam. And if you've checked and see that your exam date is not the first, second, or third day, you can take your time and print any day before your own schedule. The slip-printing link will remain active till all exam schedules are completed.

You Must Take the Slip to the Exam Hall

UTME will be held at various CBT centers across the country. While going to your own center, be sure you take the printed exam slip along.

This is your sole evidence that you're scheduled for that date, the venue, and the time. Without it, you won't be allowed to enter for your test.
