This is to inform the general public, parents, guardians, sponsors, and interested candidates that the Nigerian Army College of Nursing admission form is now on sale for the 2023/2024 admission year. 


The form is opened to:


  1. Military personnel
  2. Para-military personnel, and 
  3. civilians


NOTE: Admissions are offered on merit with special preference for a group of people.


The News: - The Nigerian Army College Of Nursing, NACON will now be running a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science, following its affiliation with the University of Lagos. According to the management, over the years, the College of Nursing has really evolved and the Chief of Army Staff has brought a lot of resources into it.  The school has tried enough and we are running a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science, with the University of Lagos

Nigerian Army College of Nursing Admission Requirements and Eligibility

  1. Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/GCE O'level NECO, or NABTEB results which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings.
  2. Candidates must have obtained JAMB UTME and considered the college as their first choice institution. Candidates who did not choose the college can still change to the college now as the first choice institution before obtaining the form.
  3. Candidates must have written English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in the UTME and scored a minimum of 160
  4. Candidates must be between the ages of 17 - 25 years by October 2023.
  5. Candidates must be Nigerian by birth


PROGRAMME DURATION: Four (2/4) Years For ND/HND Nursing Programme.

Nigerian Army College of Nursing Method of Application and Payment

  1. Application forms are only obtainable at the registrar's office on payment of a Non-refundable fee of N7000 naira only. In other words, forms are not sold online.
  2. Sales of admission forms will run from 1st June 2023 to 25th August 2023. Completed application forms, alongside photocopies of credentials, must be returned to the College on or before the closing date, 25th August 2023.
  3. You will be given a paper form after the payment. You're to fill out the form and submit it
  4. Completed application forms must be returned to the College with photocopies of credentials a week before the selection interview.

Nigerian Army College of Nursing Screening/Test Date

  1. The Post UTME examinations are scheduled to take place from the 4th to the 8th of September 2023.
  2. During this period of the test and interview, candidates shall be responsible for their accommodation, transport, and feeding.

    1. First, visit the school to obtain their form. While there, ask for their cut-off mark. If you're within the right score, obtain the form and do the change of institution to the first choice.

    1. JAMB doesn't say university should be the first choice. You can choose any school as your first choice. You can do change of institutions to correct your choices.
