Above are the UTME and O'level requirements. Your journey to universities doesn't end there. You must:
  1. score higher mark in your UTME. Such mark should be the national cut off mark as announced by JAMB. And for certain universities, you will need higher i.e. 180 to 200 e.g OAU, UI, UNILAG etc.
  2. consider your proposed university as the first choice institution
  3. register and partake in the university's post-UTME/screening exercise and
  4. beat or meet the departmental cut-off marks of your proposed department

Apart from that listed, there are other factors that may deprive you of the admission. Take time to check them in, "Reasons You Might Not Gain Admission This Year According to JAMB".
