O'level Subjects Required for Business Administration & Management Admissions

JAMB requires each candidate to have at least five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two (2) subjects in not more than two sittings.

Candidates seeking admission into 100 level of these universities, should:

1. be holders of SSCE e.g WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB
2. obtain JAMB UTME form and consider the favorite university as the number 1
3. register and participate in the university's post UTME/screening

However, the requirements above are the general requirements by JAMB and all universities comply with that. Yet, a few universities may accept more or less of these requirements. Take time to read the specific university's SSCE requirements for Business Administration.

Direct Entry Grades and Other Requirements for Business Administration and Management

To be admitted for Business Administration through JAMB Direct Entry (DE), the board requires admission seekers to possess at least two (2) 'A'level passes chosen from Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography, or Statistics.

Candidates seeking admission through DE should be holders of any of the qualifications below:

1. Bachelor's Degree e.g BSC, BA, B.TEH
2. Higher National Diploma (HND)
3. Ordinary National Diploma (OND/ND)
4. Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE)
5. Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB)
6. Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB)
7. NABTEB Advanced Level
8. Cambridge Advanced Level

Be aware also that a few universities will accept qualifications other than the listed by JAMB. Kindly check the specific DE requirements by universities offering Business Administration.
