KWARA POLY HND FT/PT and ND DPT (2024/2025): Price and Closing Date

Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, invites applications from qualified candidates for admission into its Higher National Diploma (HND) full-time and part-time, and National Diploma (ND) part-time programs for the 2024/2025 academic session, covering various disciplines in the Institutes of Applied Sciences, Environmental Studies, Finance & Management Studies, Information & Communication Technology, and Technology, with specific requirements including a minimum of a Lower Credit in the relevant National Diploma (ND) for HND applicants and five relevant O/L credit passes for ND applicants, with mandatory JAMB registration for HND full-time applicants; applications must be submitted online by July 31, 2024, with a fee of ₦20,350.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Higher National Diploma (HND Full-time and part-time) and National Diploma (HND part-time) programmes  of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin for the 2024/2025 Academic Session:

Kwara Poly HND Full Time Programmes (Two Sessions)

Kwara Poly Entry Requirements for HND Programmes

Applicants for admission into the HND programmes will be required to have the following qualifications:

1. National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant field and five relevant O/L credit passes at WASC, GCE, NECO and NABTEB at not more than two sittings. These credit passes must include English Language and Mathematics. 
2. Evidence of one year post - National Diploma (ND) cognate experience (i.e. Industrial Training) 
3. Applicants with Pass Grade in the National Diploma (ND) will be required to have at least two years Post-National Diploma industrial experience.
4.  Applicants for Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology (Post-Harvest Technology option) are required to have at least a Lower Credit grade at National Diploma (ND) programme in any of the following: Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology, Agricultural Technology, Food Science and Technology and Agricultural Engineering Technology
5. Applicants for Metallurgical Engineering Technology are expected to be graduates of the National Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering Technology only. 
6. Applicants for Mining Engineering Technology are expected to be graduates of the National Diploma in Mineral Resources or Mining Engineering Technology only. 
7. Holders of ND Computer Engineering are not admissible into HND Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology and HND Computer Science Programmes. 
8. Candidates will not be admitted into HND programmes different from those they had in their ND programmes. 
9. Holders of ND Mass Communication will not be admitted into HND Public Administration. 
10. IT IS MANDATORY FOR HND FULL-TIME APPLICANTS TO FILL IN THE JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBERS USED FOR THEIR ND PROGRAMMES. ONLY APPLICANTS WITH JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBERS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION.

Kwara Poly ND Daily Part-Time Programmes Admission Requirements

1. Applicants for admission into Part-Time National Diploma (ND) programmes will be required to have a minimum of five O/L Credits in relevant subjects at SSCE, GCE, NECO and NABTEB at not more than two sittings
2. CREDIT PASSES IN MATHEMATICS AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARE COMPULSORY FOR ALL APPLICANTS SEEKING ADMISSION INTO ANY PROGRAMME AT THE POLYTECHNIC. IN ADDITION, THE OTHER THREE SUBJECTS MUST BE RELEVANT TO THE COURSE OF CHOICE.
3. Applicants for admission into Part-Time National Diploma (ND) programmes will be required to register at the JAMB e-facility portal via https://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility/Login

Application Method and Payment for HND (Full-Time and Part-Time) and ND Daily Part-Time

Applications for admission will be done fully online. To apply online for HND (FULL TIME AND PART-TIME), and ND (PART-TIME), log on to www.kwarastatepolytechnic.edu.ng  or click https://portal.kwarastatepolytechnic.edu.ng/app/apply.php and follow the instructions there.

1. Applicants awaiting results will not be considered for admission
2.  All applications attract a fee of fifteen thousand, three hundred and fifty Naira (N20,350.00) exclusive of bank and other charges
3.  All payments for application should be made through ‘College Pay’ using your Debit Card, Master Card, or Prepaid Card. 
4. All applications close on 31-07-2024
5. Applicants sitting for the 2024 November/December Ordinary Level Examinations are not eligible for admission.
6. Applicants awaiting Ordinary Level Results should not apply.
