
With this, you want answers to three questions depending on your own concerns. As a UTME candidate, you want to know:
- The JAMB subject combination for Estate Management and
- SSCE (O'level) subject requirement for it.
As Direct Entry (DE) applicant, you want to know, aside from the O'level requirements, which concern you too, what the A'level, NCE, ND, HND, or BSC required for Estate Management.
In this post, using the official JAMB brochure, I'll be giving you the official admission requirements for ALL universities that are offering Estate Management.
First, The General JAMB Requirement for Estate Management
According to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), candidates seeking admission into Estate Management must have the following.
- Direct Entry (DE) Applicants: Two (2) A LEVEL passes in Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Biology, and Physics
- SSCE/DE Applicants: Five (5) SSC credit passes including Chemistry, Mathematics, and English Language.
- JAMB subject Combination: English, Mathematics, Economics, and one other subject
Second, The Specific Requirement By A Few Universities Offering Estate Management
- Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Biology, and Physics.
- Five (5) SSCE credit passes including Chemistry, Mathematics, and English Language.
- English, Mathematics, Economics, and one other subject
- Higher School Certificate (HSC)/GCE 'A' Level in two relevant subjects; OND and HND in Estate Management or Allied profession or professional certificate may be assessed and placed appropriately. Applicants may take remedial courses as may be recommended. Transferring from other universities would be treated on their own merits.
- Five (5) Credit in SSCE/GCE including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other two subjects from Chemistry, Physics, Commerce, Geography, Biology, Agricultural Science, and Technical Drawing
- English, Mathematics, Economics, and any one of Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agric/Biology, Government/History, and Technical Drawing
- Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Biology, and Physics.
- Five (5) SSCE credit passes including Chemistry, Mathematics, and English Language.
- English, Mathematics, Economics, and one other subject
