GUIDELINES FOR ONLINE APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO THE SCHOOLS OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY, ASUBIARO, OSOGBO, OSUN STATE.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Nursing Programs of the Department of Nursing, Ministry of Health, Osogbo, State of Osun:

1. Basic General Nursing,
2. Basic Midwifery,
3. Post-Basic General Nursing, and
4. Post-Basic Midwifery.

Osun State School of Nursing, Asubiaro Osogbo RESULT Update

This is to inform all candidates who took part in the last entrance exam of the Osun State School of Nursing, Asubiaro, Osogbo, that the results of the exams held on the 27th of August are now RELEASED and RELOADED. To check your result, log in to your application portal, and locate Exam Result. Click the result to load your result and print.

1. Basic General Nursing Admission Requirements

1. This is a Three-Year program commencing in December 2023.
2. Applicants must possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE, or NECO with five (5) Credits at not more than two sittings. The subject combination must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
3. Applicants with awaiting results can equally apply.
4. The minimum age for entry shall be Sixteen (16) years on admission.

Basic General Nursing Admission Method of Application and Payment

Online registration on the portal address: https://schoolofnursingosogbo.ng/ at the cost of seven thousand eight hundred and fifty-eight naira (N7,858.50) only.

The following are to be uploaded as appropriate:

1. One recent passport photograph with a white background scanned of size 15kb
2. Copy of O’ Level certificate or printed copy
3. Valid e-mail address,
4. Valid Phone number,
5. Next of kin’s valid Address and Phone number.

2. Post Basic General Nursing Admission Requirements

1. This is an Eighteen-Month program commencing in the next section
2. Applicants must possess WAEC, SSCE, GCE, or NECO, with (5) credits at not more than two sittings. The subject combination must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
3. Be a Registered Midwife or Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria with a valid License.
4. Have at least one year post - registration working experience after the one-year Mandatory Community Service (Midwives only).

Post Basic General Nursing Admission Method of Application and Payment

Online registration on the portal address: https://schoolofnursingosogbo.ng/ at the cost of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) only.

The following are to be uploaded as appropriate:

1. One recent passport photograph with white background scanned of size 15kb
2. Copy(ies) of O’Level certificate or printed copy(ies) o
3. Copy of Notification Letter of registration as a qualified Midwife or PsychiatricNurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria;
4. Valid e-mail address,
5. Valid Phone number,
6. Next of kin’s valid Address and Phone number

NOTE

1. The completed application form should be submitted online and the final template printed out and submitted at the Department of Nursing, Ministry of Health, Secretariat, Osogbo.

3. Post-Basic Midwifery Nursing Admission Requirements

1. This is an Eighteen-Month program commencing in September
2. Applicants must possess WAEC, SSCE, GCE, or NECO, with (5) credits at not more than two (2) sittings. The subject combination must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
3. Be a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria with a valid License.
