Nig. Immigration Recruitment (NIS): Portal, Positions and Requirements

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for full appointment to fill existing vacancies in the following positions in the Nigeria Immigration Services (NIS).

Nigeria Immigration Recruitment (NIS) General Application Requirements

1. Applicants must be Nigerians by birth
2. Applicants must have National Identity Numbers
3. Applicants must be holders of the required qualifications and certificates
4. Applicants must be fit and present certificates of medical fitness from Government recognized hospitals
5. Applicants must be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offenses
6. Be required to pass the drug test
7. Applicant must not be financially embarrassed 
8. Applicants must be between ages 18 and 30 years with the exception of Doctors and Pharmacists who must not be more than 35 years
9. Applicants height must not be less than 1.65m for males and 1.60m for females
10. Applicants’ chest measurement must not be less than 0.87 for men 
11. Computer literacy will be added advantage
12. Any certificate or qualification not declared and accepted during documentation shall not be accepted after the recruitment.

Nigeria Immigration Recruitment (NIS) Positions, and Education Requirements

1. Superintendent of Immigration (SI) CONPASS II Professional (Doctors)

Applicant must possess a minimum of First Degree (MBBS) from a recognized Institution of Higher Learning and an NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.

2. Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI) CONPASS to professional (Pharmacist)

Applicant must possess a minimum of First Degree in pharmacy from a recognized Institution of Higher Learning and an NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.

3. Assistant Superintendent of Immigration II (ASI II) CONPASS 08

Applicants must be the holder of a Bachelor’s Degree, higher national diploma or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

4. Assistant inspector of immigration (AII), General Duty, CONPASS 06

Applicants must be holders of a National Diploma (ND), NCE, or Advanced NABTEB obtained from recognized Institutions.

5. Assistant Inspector of Immigration (AII), General Duty

Applicant must be holders of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NECO, GCE, or its Equivalent with a minimum of four (4) credits in not more than two sittings, which must include English and mathematics.

6. Immigration Assistant III IA III CONPASS 03 Artisans

• Motor drivers
• Mechanic

Applicant must be holders of ordinary level SSCE, or its equivalents and appropriate Trade Test Certificate

Nigeria Immigration Recruitment (NIS) Method of Application

1. Applications shall be online. Candidates are expected to log on to the portal https://cdcfib.career/ as from Monday, 16th January, 2023 to fill out and submit the application form. Candidates are advised to print out the referee form which must be duly completed for submission during the screening Exercise.
2. Candidate should NOTE that multiple applications shall lead to automatic disqualification.
3. The application must be submitted online within Two weeks from the date of publication.
4. CLOSING: All applications are expected to be completed and submitted with Two (2) weeks from the date of this publication.

After the Application, What Next?

There shall be a computer-based test for shortlisted candidates. Appropriate time and date shall be communicated to such persons.
