The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for full-time appointment to fill existing vacancies in the following position in Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps. The application will start on Monday 12th December 2022 and close on 24th December 2022.

Civil Defence (NSCDC) 2022 Recruitment General and Statutory Requirements

  1. Applicants must be Nigerians by birth.
  2. Applicant must possess the requisite qualifications. Any certificate or qualification not presented and accepted at the recruitment center shall not be accepted after the recruitment.
  3. Applicants must be fit and present Certificates of Medical fitness from any recognized Government Hospital.
  4. Applicants must be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offense.
  5. Applicants must not be a member of a secret society, cult or drug addict, etc.
  6. Applicants must not have been involved in any financial embarrassment.
  7. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years.
  8. Applicants' height must not be less than 1.65m for males and 1.60m for females.
  9. Applicants' chest measurements must not be less than 0.87 for men.

Positions Available For the 2022 Civil Defence (NSCDC) Recruitment and Academic Requirements

Category A: General Duty (Inspectorate Cadre)

  1. Inspector of Corps (IC) CONPASS 07: Applicants must be holders of NCE or its equivalent in any related field, obtained from any recognized institution. Computer literacy will be added advantage.
  2. Assistant Inspector of Corps (AIC) CONPASS 06: Applicants must be holders of the National Diploma (ND) in any related field, obtained from any recognized Polytechnic/Institution. Computer literacy will be added advantage.

Category B: Assistant Cadres

  1. Corps Assistant (CA II) 04: Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NECO/WAEC or other equivalents with a maximum of five (5) credits in not more than two sittings, which should include English and Mathematics. Computer literacy will be added advantage.
  2. Corps Assistant (CA III) CONPASS 03: Applicant must be holders of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NECO/WAEC, or other equivalents with a minimum of five (5) credits in not more than two sittings which should include at least English and Mathematics or Trade Test Grade III (Artisan, Motor Driver Mechanics, Auto Electricals, Plumbers, Carpenters, etc.). Computer literacy will be added advantage.

Category C: Drivers, Mechanics, Artisans

  1. Corps Assistant (CA II) CONPASS 04: Applicant must be holders of Trade Test Grade II (Motor Driver Mechanic, Auto Electrician, etc.). Note: National Driver’s License is required for all prospective drivers. Computer literacy will be added advantage.
  2. Corps Assistant (CA III) 03: Applicants must be holders of Trade Test Grade III (Motor Driver Mechanic, Auto Electrician, etc.). Note: National Driver’s License is required for all prospective drivers. Computer literacy will be added advantage.

Civil Defence (NSCDC) 2022 Recruitment Method of Application

Prospective and qualified applicants should follow the procedures below to apply.

  1. Visit the Civil Defence (NSCDC) recruitment portal or just click https://cdcfib.career
  2. Create an application as a new applicant. Here, you will need your functional email and phone number
  3. After signing up, check your email for the confirmation link and confirm the profile creation
  4. Next, log into your application portal with the email and password chosen at the profile creation stage
  5. Now, you should be on your personal dashboard. Fill out the form and credentials and passport photo
  6. When completed, review your entries them before you submit. After the successful submission, you are to print out the Referee Form which must be duly completed for submission during the screening exercise.
  7. Candidates should NOTE that multiple applications will automatically be disqualified.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION: Monday 12th December 2022 to 24th December 2022.
