Best Solution Polytechnic Ondo Road, Akure, Ondo State hereby invites qualified candidates to apply for her top-up degree (also called HND/BSC conversion) admission.

Through this programme, existing HND holders of any polytechnic or BSC holders of any university will barge BSC and from the Federal University of Oye Ekiti.

The Management of Federal University Oye-Ekiti, FUOYE, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Best Solution Polytechnic, Akure, for the adoption of the Top Up and Conversion Programme of the University. 

By this MoU, Best Solution Polytechnic will run the Akure Centre of the programme on behalf of FUOYE. 

The Top-Up Programme is designed to assist Higher National Diploma, (HND), holders undergo more training to acquire bachelor degrees. And degree holders, who wish for better grades or change of discipline to acquire new degrees.

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, FUOYE, Professor Abayomi Sunday Fasina described the collaboration as very significant and a great opportunity for the two institutions to work together.

Best Solution Polytechnic is the fifth institution in partnership with FUOYE for its Top Up and Conversion Programme. Others include:

1. The Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State
2. Lagos State Polytechnic Ikorodu Lagos
3. Federal Polytechnic Offa Kwara State
4. Federal Polytechnic Ilaro Ogun State and 
5. Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti State.

The Objectives of the Best Solution Polytechnic/FUOYE Top-Up Degree Programme

The objectives of the FUOYE Top-up (Degree and HND Conversion) programme are to:

1. Provide suitable academic programmes that would facilitate conversion from HND to the university degree certificate
2. make available able contents and instructions that would upgrade the quality of university degrees from third class/or pass
3. Facilitate university education, that will lead to a change of degree/career, where necessary bring an academic level ground for degree inequality.

Who Can Obtain the Best Solution Polytechnic/FUOYE Top-Up Degree Form

1. University graduates with a pass or Third class degrees
2. HND graduates with a pass or lower credit
3. HND graduates desirable of university first degree
4. Graduates with interest in career change (e.g graduate of Chemistry wishing to change career to Accounting, etc).

Admission Requirements and Eligibility for Best Solution Polytechnic/FUOYE Top-Up Degree 

Candidates must satisfy the following admission requirements:

1. Applicants must possess a minimum of Five (5) O'Level subjects at credit level in relevant subjects in not more than two (2) sittings in the subjects relevant to their proposed programmes. English Languages at credit level is compulsory for all candidates. In addition, credit in  Mathematics is compulsory for candidates seeking admission into programmes in the Faculties of Engineering, Sciences and Social Sciences. 
2. Minimum of Third Class Honors or Pass degree or HND certificate from a recognized institution is required for the conversion programme.
3. Completion or exemption from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme

Program Duration and Lecture Period

1. Duration of the Course: Two (2) years of six (6) semesters on a full basis
2. Period of the Lectures: Lectures shall take place during weekends.

Application and Payment Method for Best Solution Polytechnic/FUOYE Top-Up Degree Programme

1. Pick your hard copy forms at Best Solution Polytechnic Akure and pay a non-refundable fee of N15,000
2. Present the duly completed form with relevant credentials (original and photocopies) and printed receipt at the Top Up and  Conversion Unit, Office of The Vice-Chancellor, FUOYE.
3. Prospective applicants can also obtain the form directly through FUOYE top-up degree admission portal.
