FUOYE Cut-Off Marks for All Courses (2023/2024)

2023/2024 FUOYE CUT-OFF MARK AND PROGRAMME CUT-OFF MARK

Even though the University announced, openly on the school portal, that her cut-off mark is 150 and above, the Federal University of Oye Ekiti is still forcing applicants who they claim do not meet up with their departmental cut-off marks to change course.

In other words, FUOYE still draws cut-off marks for some courses that aspirants should take note of. If you don't meet up with these cut-off marks, you're to change your course to the one you merit at a price of around N2,500.

Below is the list of the school's cut-off marks, for this admission year. This is expected this year too. And if it's changed, the post will be updated. All concerned should take note of the pieces of advice given below this post.

Advice for FUOYE Applicants Who Did Not Meet Up With Cut-Off Mark

It's disappointing to see the university declare cut-off marks other than 150 for all courses that students have been expecting - just like last admission year. It's done anyway and what will be the way out now that you've been let down?

Consider the following pieces of advice:

  1. If your score is less than the cut-off mark announced, consider the change of course on the JAMB portal and select the course that your UTME score is right for. Note that, if you do this, it may not reflect or be updated in the school's database immediately or updated on their website for you to continue with your post-UTME registration. You will have to wait about a week or so before such an update can reflect. Thereafter, you can register on the school portal.
  2. If your score is higher than the cut-off mark announced, you can retain your course as earlier chosen. You can also consider the change of course to a better course which your score is right for. Don't forget that some candidates will move off those most competitive and high cut-off-marked courses. This will open spaces for the less but right candidates. Changes can be made on the JAMB portal and you later register for the post-UTME.
  3. If you don't like those courses with lower cut-off marks, then change to another school that will accept your score. You don't need to waste your years on a course you don't have passion for or with a disabled future.
  4. If No. 3 above is your take, read the post below for several choices that accept cut-off marks between 150 and 160. You can also consider polytechnics as your first choice in the change of institution to broaden your admission chance to them. Most polytechnics accept between 100 to 150 e.g. Oke Ogun Poly Saki Oyo State -120, The Polytechnic Ibadan Oyo State - 150, Federal Polytechnic Ede Osun State - 140, Bida Polytechnic Niger State 150, etc.
