This is the application form to be obtained by students of other universities who wish to be transferred to the university.
Below are the procedure and application requirements for the transfer processes.
FUOYE Transfer Admission Requirements and Eligibility
- Applicants must be existing students of other universities in Nigeria
- Applicants should already be in the 200 level or above. That's 100 level applicants are not eligible as their year 1 results are required for admission.
- Applicants must obtain the form directly from the admission website of the university by downloading the PDF file containing the transfer application.
FUOYE Transfer Admission Method of Application and Payment
- Visit the official website to download the transfer admission form. The form contains 7 pages with sections. It also contains Forms A and B.
- After filling all, completed transfer forms with evidence of payment of N5,000 processing fee is sent to the Registrar; the form will be submitted to the Admission office with
- Each applicant must request the Registrar of his/her present University to forward DIRECT to the Admissions Officer, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, a transcript of his/her academic record. Transcripts submitted by applicants will NOT be processed.
- Each applicant must also request the Head of Department and Dean of Faculty and the Dean of Students/Students Affairs Officer of his/her present University to complete the confidential report forms A and B respectively supplied with this form.
Important Notice
- An application for transfer will NOT be considered until items Form A and B are filled and received
- The completed application form should be returned to the Registrar, Federal University Oye-Ekiti.
- Transfer forms will not normally be sold after the 15th June of any given session.
- Transcripts received after the 15th of September of the session will not be processed.
What Next After The Application?
- Transcripts of candidates are sent from the previous Universities to the Registrar
- Registrar will send all admission transfer cases to the Departments;
- Submissions from Departments through Faculties are forwarded to the Registrar;
- Academic Affairs Division, on the instruction of the Registrar, will compile the submissions;
- Registrar will forward submissions to the Committee of Deans;
- The compiled list of transfer submissions will then be forwarded to Senate for approval;
- Where Senate does not hold, the Vice-Chancellor shall give executive approval on behalf of the Senate;
- The decision of the Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the Senate, shall be communicated to the Deans of the Faculties, Heads of Department, and the ICT Department.
- Thereafter, the candidates shall be communicated by Email or SMS to take up the admission as the case may be.
