UCH Ibadan School of Health ND/HND (2024): Cut-Off Mark, Price and Closing Date

UNIVERSITY COLLEGE HOSPITAL, IBADAN SCHOOL OF HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT 2024/2025 ND (POST-UTME CANDIDATES) AND HND ADMISSION

Applications are invited from successful candidates who scored 150 and above in 2024 UTME (ND applicants) for admission into the School of Health Information Management of the University College Hospital, Ibadan for a Two-Year Programme leading to the award of the National Diploma (ND) and also a Two-Year Higher National Diploma (HND) Programme in Health Information Management.  The course, which is non-residential, shall commence in October 2024.

UCH Ibadan School of Health ND (Full-Time) Post UTME Requirements and Eligibility

1. Apart from the JAMB result (cut-off mark of 150 0r above), applicants must have obtained the minimum entry requirement of (5) credits at not more than two sittings in SSCE/GCE/WASC/NECO from the same examination body in the following subjects: (a) English Language (b) Mathematics (c) Biology (d) Physics or Chemistry (e) Any other subject
2. Applicants must have chosen the college in UTME as the first choice institution "SCHOOL OF HEALTH INFORMATION MGT (UCH IBADAN, OYO STATE).
3. Candidates who did not choose the college before or chose it as a second or third choice should consider changing it to the first choice institution for an edge consideration in admission.
4. Applicants awaiting results may also consider obtaining the form.

UCH Ibadan School of Health Method of Application for ND (Full-Time) Post UTME

1. Applicants should visit the college admission portal or click https://shim.uch-ibadan.org.ng/ for possible updates.
2. Interested ND applicants are to pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000 while ND II (Direct Entry) will pay N5,000 for Application and Screening fees respectively into the TSA ACCOUNT (TSA/UCH/SHIM/ADMISSION FORM) in any commercial bank.  
3. Applicants are expected to convert their bank teller into a receipt at the Cash Office of the Finance & Accounts Department, University College Hospital, Ibadan.  
4. The photocopy of the receipt of payment and the photocopy of the bank teller should be forwarded/brought to the Administrative Office of the School.
5. All applicants must have a functional E-mail address and are expected to collect their access code from the school Administrative Office to apply online, that is, to log onto www.portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng  Application must be completed online, not later than the date to be announced later.

NOTICE FOR UTME APPLICANTS 

1. The screening exercise for the ND program will be communicated to the candidates via their e-mail addresses.
2. Successful applicants will be invited for an oral interview at a later date through text messages and the School’s website.
3. Please Note: All Candidates Are Expected To Wear Their Nose Mask

UCH Ibadan School of Health Higher National Diploma (HND Full-Time) Requirements and Eligibility

1. Applicants must have a Credit in their National Diploma (ND) to be eligible. 
2. MERIT AND PASS IN (NATIONAL DIPLOMA) ND SHOULD NOT APPLY EXCEPT WITH ND PRACTICING LICENSE OR 3 YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE
3. Selection of candidates will be on the basis of good academic qualifications, good performance in the computer-based test (BT), an oral interview as well as the presentation of relevant ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES.
4. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for HND will be in (a) English Language (b) Health Records Management (c) Anatomy & Physiology

Please note that:

• pregnancy is not allowed during training
• selected candidates will be required to undergo and pass a medical examination, first thing after admission

UCH Ibadan School of Health Method of Application for HND (Full-Time)
