4 Ways to Check First Bank BVN (With 2 Impossible)

If you're like me, you could have suffered some difficulties trying to check your First Bank BVN, like any other bank.

After linking my BVN with a few other banks, I got this annoying notice whenever. I tried checking it again using the UUSD code.

Sorry, your account number is linked to multiple  BVNs. Please contact your bank for further assistance.

Even if you're not in a similar mess, you find one of the alternatives to check your BVN in the post. I'll as well, let you know means that can't work in case you're thinking of using them.

1. Check First Bank BVN With USSD

You must dial the code from the phone number linked to your First Bank account to be able to access your BVN. First Bank won't charge for this service. However, the GSM service charge of about N20 may apply.

To check your BVN with First Bank using USSD, you can follow these steps:

  1. Dial *565*0# on the phone number linked to your First Bank account.
  2. Follow the prompts on the screen to select the option for BVN.
  3. Enter your First Bank account number when prompted.
  4. Your BVN will be displayed on the screen.

2. Check First Bank BVN at Nearest Branch

You may be charged for this though. To check your BVN with First Bank at a bank branch, you can follow these steps:

  1. Visit any First Bank branch closest to you.
  2. Ensure you have a valid means of identification such as your National ID, Driver's License, or International Passport.
  3. Proceed to the customer service desk and request to check your BVN.
  4. Provide your valid means of identification and your First Bank account number.
  5. The customer service representative will verify your information and provide you with your BVN.
  6. You may also be required to fill out and sign a BVN request form.

3. Check First Bank BVN Using Internet Banking

You must have registered for internet banking with First Bank to be able to use this service. If you haven't registered yet, you can visit any First Bank branch to register for internet banking.

To check your BVN with First Bank using internet banking, you can follow these steps:

  1. Visit the First Bank internet banking portal at https://ibank.firstbanknigeria.com

  6. Click on "Submit" to view your BVN.

4. Check First Bank BVN Using Mobile App

This is equally applicable to those who have registered for First Bank Internet Banking at the same time using the mobile app.

To check your BVN with First Bank using the mobile app, you can follow these steps:
