Nigeria Jubilee Fellowship Programme
This is to invite Nigerian graduates who had equally finished their NYSC together with interested organizations, businesses, and companies to participate in Nigeria Jubilee Programme. 


The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme is committed to achieving diversity and encourages all qualified applicants, irrespective of gender, disabilities, sexual orientation, culture, religious and ethnic backgrounds to apply. The NJFP is open to young Nigerians under the age of 30 who meet the criteria listed under the eligibility section below. All applications will be treated with the strictest confidence.


Both Fellows and Host organizations apply by registering on the Application Form and follow the application steps. All minimum requirements need to be met and mandatory information provided as the application is open between 6 September 2021 to 20 October 2021.

About the Nigeria Jubilee Programme For Graduates

  1. Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of ₦100,000 paid by the Jubilee Fellows Programme subject to achieving planned results for each month. 
  2. The program will serve all of Nigeria – from North to South and East to West – ensuring that organizations and youth from all corners of the country can participate through merit-based selection.
  3. The work placement is a 12-month earning-as-you-work opportunity that provides the Fellow with an opportunity to acquire hands-on experience, knowledge, and 'on-the-job' skills with the aim of improving the Fellows’ employability and competitiveness in the job market.
  4. The Jubilee Fellows Programme offers three pathways at the end of their active engagement in the Programme: (i) High-performing Jubilee Fellows may go on to be retained by their respective host organizations. (ii) Fellows with interests in entrepreneurship will have garnered skills and knowledge on the job which will be invaluable as they pursue other opportunities. (iii) With newly acquired on-the-job skills & competencies, experience. exposure and a formidable alumni network that can be leveraged, fellows are better positioned and equipped to compete and access future jobs and employment opportunities.
  5. In addition, all Fellows will automatically be enrolled in the Jubilee Fellows Alumni Network, providing a platform for peer-to-peer connections and job opportunities, upon completion of the programme.

Nigeria Jubilee Programme Eligibility and Requirements for the Graduates

To be an eligible fellow, you must

  1. Must be a Nigerian citizen.
  2. Be a fresh graduate (Bachelor's Degree) from any discipline and graduate no earlier than 2017. That's from 2017 till date.
  3. Graduate with at least a Second Class Lower (2.2) and above.
  4. Be at most 30 years old.
  5. Not currently engaged in any employment.
  6. Have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) OR have a certificate of exemption from the NYSC.
  7. Demonstrate interest/commitment in the chosen career field.
  8. Demonstrate interest/commitment to contributing to Nigeria’s socio-economic development. Yes, please upload your NYSC Certificate of Exemption under the respective section in the Application Form.
  9. Fellows and organizations will be matched by an independent talent management agency based on the Fellows' interests and organizations' requirements.
  10. In the Application Form, you can indicate your preferred location of work. This can however not be guaranteed as it depends on the availability of work placements in the specific location.

Nigeria Jubilee Programme Eligibility and Requirements for the Organizations

To be an eligible host organization, you must

  1. Provision up-to-date regulatory documentation including -
  2. CAC Certificate of Registration
  3. Provision of the official letter of interest detailing a clear understanding of the objectives of the NJFP and commitment to supporting the program by accepting fellow placements.
  4. Provision of clear descriptions of available role requirements.
  5. Agreement to provide mentorship support to fellows through dedicated sessions with existing experienced professionals within their organizations.
  6. Agreement to abide by the guidelines of the program and to sign a code of conduct.
  7. Have non-discrimination policies on gender, ethnicity, religion, and disability status, as well as policies against sexual harassment, exploitation, and abuse (PSHEA).
  8. Have no criminal records or conviction or any affiliation with proscribed organizations ie, terrorists, drug traffickers, illicit trade, child labor.

Nigeria Jubilee Programme Selection Processes

The selection process for fellows is as follows:

  1. Eligibility criteria for prospective fellows have been developed and are available on the 'Eligibility criteria' page of this website.
  2. Prospective fellows will submit an application electronically against the criteria through the application page of this site. Applications submitted through any other medium will not be considered.
  3. Applications will be open for a duration of 6 weeks (with the start and closing dates clearly indicated). Applications will not be received after the closing date.
  4. Applicants will be required to carefully review the selection criteria before beginning the application process. Only applicants that meet the minimum requirements will be considered for the next stages of the selection process.
  5. An independent talent management company will review all of the submissions and produce a long list that will proceed to the next stage. Long-listed candidates will undergo a series of aptitude tests and assessments before final selection.
  6. Given the expected high volume of applicants, the program will only communicate to successful candidates.
  7. The application cycle (from submission to selection process including matching to host organizations) is expected to last 12 weeks. In case of any changes, communication to this effect will be made.
  8. Have excellent time management and a professional attitude.
  9. Have good verbal and written communication skills.
