The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is a Paramilitary organization and the Lead Agency in Road traffic administration and safety management in Nigeria. The Corps is desirous of recruiting young, vibrant. intelligent and patriotic individuals in the quest to advance its world-class status. Consequently, applications are invited from qualified candidates for appointment to the following positions:

Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Positions, Academic Qualifications, and Requirements

1. Officer(MBBS) Cadre

Qualification: Candidates must possess the following:

1. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution of higher learning in Medicine
2. NYSC Discharge Certificate.

2.  Officer Cadre

Qualification: Applicants must possess:

1. A first Degree/HND from a recognized institution of learning and 
2. NYSC Discharge Certificate/Exemption Certificate.

3. MI Cadre (Marshal Inspector I)

Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following:

1. Double Qualifications RN & RM, Accident & Emergency Nurses, Pediatric Nurses, Anesthetic Nurses, Orthopedic Nurses, Radiographers from recognized institutions

4. MI Cadre (Marshal Inspector II)

Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following:

1. Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) in relevant disciplines.
2. Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM).
3. Statement of Result not beyond 5 years.

5. MI Cadre (Marshal Inspector III)

Qualifications: Applicants must possess the following from recognized Institutions:

1. National Diploma (ND)
2. Senior Community Health Extension Workers Certificate (CHEW),
3. Medical Laboratory Technicians
4. Pharmacy Technicians
5. Dental Technicians

6. RMA Cadre (Road Marshal Assistant II)

Qualifications: Applicants must possess:

1. A minimum of 5 credits in SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) which must include English Language and Mathematics

7. MI Cadre (Road Marshal Assistant III)

Qualifications: Qualifications Applicants must possess:

1. A minimum of three (3) credits in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB, one of the credits must be in English Language.

8. MI Cadre (Artisans and Tradesmen)

Artisans and Tradesmen may apply under this category. Those applying for the posts of Computer Operators, Drivers, Mechanics, Motorcycle Riders, Electricians, Instrumentalists, Tailors, Plumbers, etc. must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 4 passes in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB.
2. Trade Test and or other professional Certificates.
3. Drivers and Riders must have the appropriate class of Driver’s Licence.

9. MI Cadre (Drivers and Riders)

1. Drivers and Riders MUST have an appropriate class of valid National Driver’s License
2. Trade Test and or other professional Certificates.
3. Attempted SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)

Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Recruitment Portal and Method of Application

1. Application is online through https://www.recruitment.frsc.gov.ng/
2. Applicants won't be required to make any payment while filling online form
3. Shortlisted applicants will be required to come along with a mint out of the form for screening.
4. Your application should be submitted online within six (6) weeks of this publication.
5. Applicants are not required to submit any documents to any of the FRSC offices nationwide

General Qualification and Requirements for All Positions

1. Computer literacy and possession of a VALID National Driver's Licence shall be an added advantage for all cadres.
2. Any certificate a qualification not declared or tendered and accepted at the time of recruitment CANNOT be presented subsequently for career progression in the Corps.
3. Applicants MUST be Nigerians by birth.
4. Applicants MUST be medically fit and MUST PRODUCE a certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital.
5. Applicants must NOT be less than 18 years or more than 30 years of age. However, 35 years will be considered for Medical Doctors and Articulated Vehicle Drivers.
6. All applicants MUST be single.
7. Applicant's height must not be less than 1.7 METRES for males and  1.64 METRES for females.
8. Medical and Allied professionals mum possess current practicing licenses while Lawyers must have been called to Bar
9. Male applicants must have a hilly expanded chest measurement of not less than 0.87metres.
10. Applicants must be free from any form of financial embarrassment. be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offense.
11. Applicants must not have tattoos on any part of their body.
12. Applicants must use their personal email addresses and phone numbers when submitting their applications online.

Other Conditions of Application, Health and Physical Requirements

Prospective candidates who are pregnant need not apply.

Applicants with any of the following disabilities need not apply:

1. Impediment in speech (Stammerer/dumb)
2. Gross malformation of teeth (malocclusion, overjet, overbite, etc)
3. Knocked knees
4. Bent knee,
5. Bowlegs
6. K-legs
7. Flat foot
8. Bent arms/deformed hands
9. Amputation of any part of the physical body
10. Impaired Hearing (partial/total deafness)
11. Hunched back
12. Obesity
13. Visual impairment (squint-eyed, crossed eye. one-eyed, etc) 
14. Medical challenge and any other physical deformity not mentioned.
