Direct Entry Admission Requirement into Architecture Technology

Direct entry applicants are generally holders of one of the following qualifications or more.

1. Bachelor's Degree e.g. B.Tech
2. Higher National Diploma (HND)
3. National Diploma (OND)
4. Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
5. Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) 
6. Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB)
7. National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB A'level)
8. Cambridge A'level

The category of candidates can obtain the JAMB Direct Entry form to process direct entry admission into the 200/300 level of Architectural Technology.

Generally, Direct Entry applicants must have at least two (2) 'A' Level passes chosen from Mathematics or Physics and Chemistry, Geography or Fine Arts, or ND/HND upper credits in relevant fields.

UTME Admission Requirements Into Architecture

To gain admission through UTME, you must:

1. be at least an SSCE holder e.g. WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, GCE, etc
2. obtain the JAMB UTME form
3. obtain the post-UTME/screening form of your proposed university

JAMB requires you to have at least five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any of Fine Art, Geography or Woodwork, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further. Mathematics., Introduction to Building Construction, Bricklaying/Block laying, Concreting, Wall, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Joinery, Carpentry, Decorative Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing, Ceramics, Graphics Design, Graphic Printing, Basic Electricity.

The board also requires you to write the following in UTME: English Language, Physics, Mathematics, and any of Chemistry, Geography, Art, Biology, and Economics.
