UTME, SSCE, DE Requirements For Animal & Environmental Biology

2. SSCE/DE Applicants: Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and two (2) other Science subjects.
3. JAMB subject Combination: English, Biology and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

With the stated conditions above, if a student should follow, the university proposed should admit him or her provided you meet other admission conditions.

Second, The Specific Requirement By A Few Universities Offering Animal and Environmental Biology

To prove this further and show you any difference in what each university may ask for, let's sample three of the universities - federal, state, and private. The sample universities DE, SSCE, and JAMB subjects are numbered 1, 2, and 3 respectively.

University Of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State accepts as follows.

1. Two (2) 'A' Level passes or NCE in Biology, Zoology or Botany and one other Science subject
2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and two (2) other Science subjects.
3. Biology and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Ondo State University Of Medical Sciences, Laje Road, Ondo, Ondo State accepts as follows.

1. Two (2) 'A' Level passes or NCE in Biology, Zoology or Botany and one other Science subject
2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and two (2) other Science subjects.
3. Biology and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Kingsley Ozumba (K.O) Mbadiwe University, Ogboko, Imo State accepts as follows.

1. Two (2) 'A' Level passes or NCE in Biology, Zoology or Botany and one other Science subject
2. Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and two (2) other Science subjects.
3. Biology and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Conclusion

While seeking admission into any university offering Biological Science in Nigeria, like any other course, the JAMB official requirement should be your priority because most if not the universities will comply with that.
