     KWARA STATE COLLEGE OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY, OFFA PROGRAMMES/COURSES AVAILABLE AND THEIR ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Community Health 

    • Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW)
    • National Diploma in Community Health (NDCH)
    • Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW)

    Admission Requirements for CHEW, NDCH, and JCHEW

    NECO, WAEC, GCE, OR NABTEB; Five (5) Credits in the following subjects - Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Buy NECO, WAEC, or NABTEB Result Checking Card to check and print your results.

    NOTE: Applicants will need to write JAMB UTME for some courses. The college's courses that require JAMB are:
    1. EHT (Environmental Health Technician)
    2. NDCH (National Diploma Community Health)
    3. DHT (Dental Health Technology)
    4. DT (Dental Therapy)
    5. NDHIM (National Diploma Health Information Management)

    2. Dental Health

    • Dental Surgery Technician (DST)
    • Dental Health Technology (DHT)
    • Dental Therapy (DT)

    Admission Requirements for DST, DHT, and DT

    NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB; Five (5) Credits pass in the following subjects - Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

    3. Environmental Health Science

    • Environmental Health Technician (EHT)

    Admission Requirements for EHT

    NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB; Five (5) Credits in the following subjects - Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

    4. Diploma Environmental Technician

    • ND and HND Environmental Technology

    Admission Requirements for EHT

    1. GCE, NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB; Four (4) Credits in the following subjects - English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and Credit or Pass in Mathematics
    2. HND should possess in addition to the above, ND

    • Environmental Health Assistant (EHA)

    Admission Requirements for EHA

    GCE, NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB; Four (4) Credits in the following subjects - English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and Credit or Pass in Mathematics

    •  Health Education Promotion (HEP)

    Admission Requirements for HEP

    NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB: Four (4) Credits in the following subjects - English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and Credit or Pass in Mathematics

    • Health Information Management (HIM)
    • Health Information Technician (HIT)

    Admission Requirements for HIM and HIT

    NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB; A minimum of three (3) Credits and 2 Passes. The Credit must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science. And passes in two (2) of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, and Agric. Science

    • National Diploma in Health Information Management (ND HIM)
    • Higher National Diploma in Health Information Management (HND HIM)

    Admission Requirements for ND HIM and HND HIM

    NECO, WAEC, GCE OR NABTEB; A minimum of Five (5) Credits which must include the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Physics/Chemistry and any subject chosen from the following Economics, Geography, Religious Knowledge, and Nigerian Language)

    5. Medical Laboratory

    • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

    Admission Requirements for MLT

    NECO, GCE, WAEC OR NABTEB; Four (4) Credits in the following subjects - Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry) and Credit or Pass in Physics.

    • Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA)

    Admission Requirements for MLT

    NECO, GCE, WAEC OR NABTEB; Four (4) Credits in the following subjects - Mathematics, English, Biology, Physics) and Credit or Pass in Chemistry

    6. Public Health Nursing

    • Public Health Nursing (PHN  HND)
    • Health Technician (HT)
    • Health Assitant (HA)

    Admission Requirements for PHN, HT and HA

    GCE, NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB; FIVE (5) Credits in the following subjects - Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

    7. Bio-Medical Engineering

    • Bio-Medical Engineering (BME)

    Admission Requirements for BME

    NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB; Five (5) Credits in the following subjects - Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

    8. Orthopedic

    • Orthopedic Cast Technician (OCT)
    • Prosthetics-Orthotics Technician (POT)

    Admission Requirements for BME

    NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB; Five (5) Credits in the following subjects - Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics

    9. Health Education

    • Health Education Technician

    Admission Requirements for HET

    Four (4) Credits in NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB; Mathematics, English, Biology/Health Science, Economics), + any other one in (Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Agricultural Science)

    10. Ophthalmic

    • Ophthalmic Technician (OT)

    Admission Requirements for OT

    NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB; Five (5) Credits in the following subjects - Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics)

    11. X-Ray And Medical Imaging

    • X-RAY Technician

    Admission Requirements for X-Ray Technician

    NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB; Five (5) Credits in the following subjects - Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

    12. Community Nutrition

     Community Nutrition Technician (CNT)

    Admission Requirements for X-Ray Technician

    NECO, WAEC OR NABTEB; Five (5) Credits in the following subjects - Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

    13. Pharmacy

    • Pharmacy

      Greetings Sir, pls I want to confirm this;(1) in have a sister who wants to enroll into offa college of health science for a nursing program and she is married and pregnant ...(2) the other one is already a student and she also wants to get marry next year and there's a fear of pragnacy may likely comes in after wedding. PLS SIR IS ALL THIS ALLOW FOR THE STUDENT AND IT WON'T AFFECT HER PROGRAMME?

      Pls sir, for MLT can WAEC and NECO be combined? If not is E8 in chemistry accepted? Thanks in advance

        E8 in Chemistry is not acceptable for MLS.

      Thanks a lot sir, in my previous studies I combined WAEC and NECO of the same year, so since you said I can combine for my intending course (MLT) the E8 chemistry won't be a problem. Really grateful, hope to getting more updates from you sir.
