  1. For better understanding, below, you will see the names of the courses. And below each course, you will see the Direct Entry requirement numbered 1, SSCE i.e WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB subjects requirements numbered 2 with UTME subjects numbered 3.
  2. Where the DE requirement states "A'level". This includes Advanced programmes qualifications such as JUPEB, IJMB, Cambridge, etc. Just be sure you know the one being accepted by the university
  3. Only three UTME subjects will be included in each course. This is because English is general to all courses. Hence, it's not repeated to save spaces

1. Chemical Engineering

  1. 'A' Level passes in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  2. Five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject from either Biology, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Dying & Bleaching or Leather Goods Manufacturing.
  3. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

2. Chemistry 

  1. Two 'A' Level passes in Chemistry and any one (1) of Physics, Mathematics or Biology.
  2.  Five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and any other subject from Biology/Agricultural Science, Computer Studies, Cosmetology and Dying & Bleaching
  3. Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics or Biology.

3. Civil Engineering 

  1. (i)'A' Level passes in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
  2. Five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject from Biology, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Data Processing
  3. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

4. Computer Engineering 

  1.  'A' Level passes in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.
  2. Five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject from Biology, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Computer Studies, Data Processing/GSM Maintenance
  3. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

5. Computer Science 

  1. Two (2) 'A' Level passes in science subjects including Mathematics
  2. Five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other two subject from Computer Studies, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science or Data Processing/GSM Maintenance.
  3. Mathematics, Physics and any other from Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science.

6. Electrical/Electronics Engineering 

  1.  'A' Level passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
  2. Five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject from Biology, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Electrical Installation & Maintenance Work, Auto Electrical Work.
  3. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry

7. Environmental Management And Toxicology 

  1. Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Chemistry and Biology
  2. Five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and  Physics or a pass in Physics and a credit pass in Geography, Computer Studies, Agricultural Science, Health Education, Fisheries or Tourism
  3. Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics

8. Geology 

  1. Two (2) 'A' Level passes from Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Geography.
  2. Five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and any other subject from Computer Studies, Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography, Data Processing or Mining.
  3. Mathematics, Chemistry and any other one from Physics, Biology and Geography. 

9. Geophysics 

  1. Two 'A' Level passes in Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.
  2. Five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and any other one from  Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography, Computer Studies, Data Processing or Mining.
  3. Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics

10. Industrial Chemistry 

  1. Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology
  2. Five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and any other subject from Biology, Agricultural Science, Computer Studies, Cosmetology and Dying & Bleaching
  3. Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics or Biology

11. Marine Engineering

  1. (i) 'A' Level passes in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
  2. Five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject from Biology, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Auto Mechanical Work, Welding & Fabrication, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration. 
  3. Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.

12. Mathematics 

  1. Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Mathematics and any other Science subject.
  2. Five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other two subjects from Computer Studies, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science or Data Processing/GSM Maintenance.
  3. Mathematics, Physics and any other from Chemistry , Biology or Agricultural Science

13. Mechanical Engineering 

  1.  'A' Level passes in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
  2. Five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject from Biology, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Auto Mechanical Work, Welding & Fabrication, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.

14. Natural Gas Engineering 

  1. 'A' Level passes to include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  2. Five (5) SSC credits to include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language and any other subject from Agricultural Science, Biology, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics and Data Processing.
