See The Date WAEC to Release WAEC May/June Results

WAEC had just concluded its May/Juen Series of West African Examination. We're all aware that the exams should have been concluded sometime in May or at worst June. But due to COVID-19 and lockdown, candidates were forced to write their exams at a later date.

The next question every candidate wants an answer to is "when is WAEC going to release our results?

Most of their candidates are seeking admission with their awaiting results. Hence, they would want to know the time to expect the results so as to be sure if it will meet this year's admission or otherwise.

As a result of this concern, a few candidates had taken to the official Twitter page of the exam body to find out when exactly the results would be out.

These results will determine the admission fate of very many students as they’re using awaiting results.

Date Announced by WAEC Officials for the Releasee of Result

UPDATE: WAEC Results May/June 2020 to be released for checking on November 2, 2020, by 10.30am.

WAEC announced the time and date to release results

The norm is that WAEC will release May/June (WAEC internal) or WAEC for school candidates in 45/50 days after the last paper. The exams body has been so consistent with this arrangement for the past few years. Therefore, this year shouldn't be any different.

With my calculation, candidates should be expecting their results to be out latest by the last days of October.

However, going by what happened in March 2020 when WAEC released WAEC GCE results within just 30 days, candidates may also be on the lookout for a similar surprise.

With this, as well, the body may likely drop the results for full online checking in early November.

To check the result, when released, follow the guide in, "WAEC Results Out! 8 Steps to Check Your Result on the Official Website".

Wishing you the best!
