DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT
(i) Two (2) A level passes in Chemistry and Mathematics
(ii) ND in Science Technology or ND in relevant programmes with the UTME requirements.

SSCE (O'LEVEL) SUBJECTS REQUIREMENTS
Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology/Agricultural Science.
JAMB UTME SUBJECT COMBINATION
Chemistry, Mathematics and any of Physics/Biology/ Agricultural Science.

IMPORTANT CONDITIONS TO NOTE FOR INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY ADMISSIONS

DIRECT ENTRY:
(i) PHC and IMSU - No Direct Entry.
(ii) ILORIN does not accept ND/HND but accepts NCE & IJMB A level.
(iii) UNN accepts two (2) A level passes in Chemistry and any one (1) of Physics and Mathematics, plus the UTME requirements.
iv) IGBINEDION, DELSU and BOWEN accept A level passes in Chemistry and one (1) from Physics or Mathematics.
(v) EKSU accepts ND upper credit in a relevant programme.
(vi) BOWEN same as in Biochemistry.
(vii) ILORIN accepts A level pass in Chemistry and Physics.
(viii) IBADAN, IMSU and IGBINEDION Same as in Chemistry.
(ix) ESUTECH does not require O level credit pass in Biology or Agricultural Science.
(x) AJAYI and BENIN as in Chemistry.
(xi) EBSU accepts:
(a) a good NCE or ND with at least 2.5 CGPA A level passes in Chemistry, Mathematics or Statistics or Physics.
(b) HND with CGPA of not less than 2.5 can be admitted into 300 level. In (a) and (b), candidates must have O level credit passes in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.
(xii) CUAB accepts two (2) A level passes in Chemistry and any of Physics, Mathematics or Biology.
(xiii) AAUA accepts ND upper credit in Chemistry or other related programmes
(xiv) WESTERN-DEL and ILORIN same as in Chemistry.
(xv) WESLEYUNI same as in Chemistry.
(xvi) FUTA accepts ND upper credit in Science Technology, Food Science and Technology or Textile Technology in addition to the UTME requirements or Two (2) A Level passes in two (2) subjects which must include Chemistry and any one (1) of Physics, Mathematics and Biology.
(xvii) UNIOSUN accepts:
(a) A level passes in Biology, Geography and Physics in lieu of Mathematics.
(b) ND lower credit or approved equivalents.
(xviii) CRAWFORD accepts ND upper credit are eligible for admission into 200 Level provided that their programme covers certain basic courses offered in the school up to the second year. HND lower credit are eligible for admission into 200 level depending on the appropriateness of their requisite academic preparation. Holders of two (2) A level subjects passes including Chemistry and one (1) of Physics, Mathematics are also eligible for admission into 200 Level programme in any of the Chemistry programmes. In addition to fulfilling the requirements stated above, a holder of ND, HND or A level must also have five (5) O level credit passes.
(xix) PAUL accepts passes in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics in the GCE A level or HSC Principal level examinations or any other equivalent examination.
(xx) FUTA accepts ND upper credit or its equivalent in Science Laboratory Technology, Science Technology, Food Science and Technology or Textile Technology. Also, candidates with A level passes in two (2) subjects which must include Chemistry and any one (1) of Physics, Mathematics and Biology are eligible for admission.
(xxi) BELLS accepts:
(a) two (2) A level passes chosen from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
(b) ND/HND in related programme plus the UTME requirements.
(xvii) FED-OYEEKITI accepts A level pass in Physics or Biology.
(xxi) RENAISSANCE accepts ND credit from recognised institutions.
(xxii) OSUSTECH requires :
(a) two (2) A level passes in Chemistry and any one (1) of Physics Mathematics or Biology in that order.
(b) ND distinction and credit in relevant programmes.
(xxiii) CALEB Same as Microbiology and Industrial Biotechnology.
(xxiii) UMYUK accepts ND/HND lower credit with Chemistry as major or its equivalent lower credit from a recognized institution. NCE candidates must have Chemistry as major with any of Physics, Biology, Mathematics or other relevant subject or certificate from a recognized institution with a score of nine (9) points. A level passes in Chemistry and any two (2) from Physics, Biology or Mathematics with a score of nine (9) points.
(xxiv) BAUCHI requires six (6) points in relevant subjects in IJMB examination or A level examination. The relevant subjects are Chemistry, Biology and Physics or Chemistry, Physics and A level Mathematics. ND upper credit.
(xxv) FED-DUTSINMA requires two (2) A level passes in Chemistry and any one (1) of Physics, Mathematics or Biology. It also accepts ND/NCE with good grades and relevant O level subjects.

SSCE RESULTS:
(i) ILORIN, BOWEN, IGBINEDION and PHC - do not accept Agricultural Science. PHC does not accept Biology but requires Mathematics.
(ii) MADONNA accepts O level pass in English Language.
(iii) BAUCHI requires O level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics or Chemistry, Physics and Further Mathematics.
(iv) MAUTY requires Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
(v) FED-WUKARI, AJAYI and IMSU - as in Chemistry.
(vi) FED-OYEEKITI and CUAB does not accept Agricultural Science.
(vii) OAU and IBADAN - As in Chemistry.
(viii) UNN requires five (5) O level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Agricultural Science.
(ix) KASU does not accept Agricultural Science.
(x) EBSU requires five (5) O level credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Biology.
(xi) FUTA requires five (5) O level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings. The five (5) subjects should include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology/ Agricultural Science.
(xii) BELLS requires five (5) O level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology/ Geography/Further Mathematics/Agricultural Science.
(xiii) REDEEMER'S requires five (5) O level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology/ Agricultural Science.
(xiv) RENAISSANCE requires five (5) O level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
(xv) BSU accepts passes in five (5) prescribed subjects in Preliminary Science of BSU in addition to minimum UTME scores. It does not accept Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology.
(xvi) UMYUK accepts Geography or Agricultural Science or Computer Studies in place of Biology.
(xvii) LANDMARK requires O level credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other science subject.
(xviii) FED-DUTSINMA accepts five (5) O level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

UTME SUBJECTS:
(i) BOWEN and PHC do not accept Agricultural Science.
(ii) UNN accepts Chemistry, Physics and any one (1) of Biology and Mathematics.
(iii) OAU, PHC, ILORIN, EKSU, DELSU, EBSU, FUTO, BELLS, FUTA require Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
(iv) AJAYI, IGBINEDION, IBADAN, BOWEN and BENIN as in Chemistry.
(v) FED-OYEEKITI and CUAB requires Chemistry or any two (2) of Physics, Mathematics and Biology
(vi) WESTERN-DEL and ILORIN same as in Chemistry
(vii) FUPRE, UNIOSUN and EBSU require Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
(viii) OSUSTECH requires Chemistry and any two (2) of Physics, Mathematics and Biology/Agricultural Science.
(ix) BSU requires Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
(x) OOU requires Chemistry and any two (2) of Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Agricultural Science and Geography.
(xi) LANDMARK accepts Chemistry and any other two (2) Science subjects.
(xii) FED-DUTSINMA requires Chemistry and two (2) of Physics, Biology and Mathematics.
